The Royal Air Force museum in London

The RAF museum in north London is a fantastic way to spend a few hours. It showcases British aviation from the end of the first world war till now. There are multiple exhibition halls, each devoted to different eras. There are dozens of aircraft including the famous Lancaster bomber and Panavia Tornado. My favourite was the Avro Vulcan! There are also several simulators that are great fun for adults and children. Admission is free and the museum is located near Colindale underground station. #localguides #familytrip #falltrip
