Quick trip to Edinburgh

Getting There - Edinburgh has an international airport with connections to other areas of the U.K., Europe, North America and Asia. There is also a train station to most of the other U.K. train stations as well as a bus station connection Edinburgh to other areas of Scotland ✈️ 🚆 🚌 Attractions - there are lots of attractions within Edinburgh that are both free or chargeable by entry. Some of the most known attractions include Edinburgh Castle, a walk to Arthur’s Seat and a visit to Holyrood. Other attractions include the Edinburgh Dungeons and ghost tours. Hotels - there are a number of hotels ranging from hostels and cheaper establishments to five star luxury hotel. We stayed at a mid-range hotel in Haymarket which was within walking distance to the main attractions. Food & Restaurants - the restaurants vary across the city with some local delights including deep fried Mars bars and major international chains such as The Ivy or Five Guys. Shopping - there are lots of shopping opportunities on the main high street in Edinburgh which has known high street brands and local Scottish themed souvenir shops #falltrip #localguides
