Sudi and Huagang Welcome Spring

The spring breeze is slightly cold But it warms the face. Who is it That graces March so charmingly, Who is it That intoxicates the passing years. The day after Hangzhou officially announced the arrival of spring, I went to capture the essence of spring again. Of course, I went to 'Sudi' and 'Huagang', because among the old ten scenic spots of West Lake, they best represent the spring scenery. Since the Southern Song dynasty, 'Sudi Chunxiao' has always been at the top of the 'Ten Scenes of West Lake'. Spring comes early here, and the spring flowers bloom early too. Here, the early cherry blossoms are like a cloud of pink; Here, the willows sway gracefully in the wind; Here, Hangzhou's 'Wangchun' flowers—magnolias are as white as snow and as red as fire in their bloom; Here, 'when the water is warm, the ducks know first', Here, the oriental white-eye birds are the messengers of spring, the most beautiful dancers. In this world, all that is beautiful begins with spring. When there is a hint of spring in the air, the outside world also gradually takes on the air of spring. A touch of light green astonishes time, a blooming flower tenderizes the years. The sun speaks not, warming the heart, the flowers bloom silently, scenting the world. Quietly observing the impermanence of life, one's heart gains a sense of ease and leisure.
