Qinghai Kambra National Geological Park

Kambra National Geological Park is located in Jianzha County, Qinghai, at the junction of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Loess Plateau in terms of geological location. The park covers the 'Danxia' peak forest landscape, the sedimentary environment and sedimentary structure types of the Neogene, and the traces of the geological ecological environment evolution over the past 38 million years. The Kambra Danxia landform is composed of red sand and gravel rocks, and the rock surface is red as rosy clouds. The main geomorphological features are strange peaks, square mountains, caves, and cliffs. The mountains are like pillars and towers, like walls and castles, like humans and beasts, with different shapes. Various shapes are lifelike, with thousands of strange shapes, and there are wonders of nature's workmanship. There are eighteen strange mountains and dangerous peaks in the Kambra area, such as Nanchong Peak, Gongbao Peak, Dejie Peak, Neibaozong Peak, Dayan Peak, Nigu Peak, Goat Peak, Yak Peak, etc. The names of these mountains are mostly with strong religious colors. Among the eighteen peaks, Aqiong Nanzong and Neibaozong are the most famous. Dejie Peak, under the sunlight, looks far away, just like the grand scene of Lhasa Potala Palace; the 'Fairy Gathering' near Dehong Village is composed of dozens of conical mountains that rise from the ground, with different shapes, dotted with strange flowers and weeds, and the terrain around it rises, as if the 'fairies' are dancing, the scenery is peculiar and beautiful, like a fairyland, it is breathtaking; Qiangqigang is located in the western part of the scenic area, composed of dozens of large and small tower-shaped peaks with cliffs, viewed from the best viewing point, it seems that the mountains are dancing, the forest is vast, the sunny and snowy weather is varied, giving people a majestic and spectacular feeling. Aqiong Nanzong is surrounded by steep cliffs, and there is only one stone step path leading to the top of the peak. Most of this path is artificially excavated on the cliff. There is an ancient temple on the top of the peak, several small stone caves, and Buddha statues are displayed in the caves, and the incense is constant all year round. Neibaozong is a square independent peak, with strange flowers and weeds on it, and there is a heavenly pond and spring water on the top of the peak.
