The greatest wall of all! Jinshanling section

It was just magical having the Great Wall of China all to ourselves. The Jinshanling section was definitely a good choice when deciding which section of the wall to visit, away from the crowded city, well preserved and the word beautiful does not do ot justice. Just under 3 hours drive from Beijing, in Chengde city, Hebei. An easy drive to do yourself or any travel agent can help you arrange a vehicle. You can then hike on the wall, reasonablee fitness needed as you will find steep hills and many steps. can hike from slittle as 15 minutes to 4 hours with a few options directing you back down to the carpark along the way. Majestic views of the great wall following the spine of the mountains will make you stop just to take it all in and savour the moment. Entrance to the park is 60RMB.
