Railway Market Thrill

I strongly recommend visiting the maeklong train market because it was an incredible moment where you get to see the stall holders keep their things and let the train pass through the narrow train track. That was my first time booking a half day tour to the maeklong train market and the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. The driver fetched us from the hotel at 7am in the morning. The journey was two hours per way to that area. On board the 9 pax van were a few other tourists from Malaysia. When we arrived at the maeklong train market, we were glad to know that a train has just arrived and is parking. We were able to go up the train to have a feel of what it was like to be sitting on the train. At 955am, the actual train arrives and travels through the market. A bell will alarm the market stall holders to keep their items away from the railway track. This was indeed a very fascinating moment for my family and I. Do book a half day tour instead of travelling on your own. As the tour guide knows the place better and they are familiar with the place.
