Markets of 🇹🇭 Bangkok

Mae Klong railway market is an early morning tourist spot! Setting off from Bangkok this affordable and fairly enjoyable tour we joined started with a bus ride to as what I would describe very loosely as a train station (Pic3). We then hopped aboard and spent an enjoyable ride through the countryside until we came to the market, where you could hear the clattering of the stalls hurrying to move their crafts and foods inside. or out of harm's way. As we passed through you could see the tourists and locals squeezing in and getting out the way of the train. We did then pull in to an actual train station before we went shopping for fresh fruits and took our turns avoiding the later trains. Next up is the Saduak floating market. This is the home of trinkets and ornaments. You'll take a fast and colourful boat thought the rafts and stalls of goodies. The food here is delicious and there are lots of outdoor dining options. Finally to end our Bangkok markets tour is the night Market at Ratchada. This is the one stop shop for clothes, bags accessories and for some reason hair cuts. There are hundreds of stalls selling new and vintage clothes at very affordable prices if you are happy to negotiate.
