The restoration project of the Nanle Confucian Temple is a group of buildings restored on the original site according to the historical layout of the temple, which is a cultural relic protection and exhibition project with restorative nature. After the restoration, the architectural complex of the Nanle Confucian Temple is composed of three courtyards, from west to east in sequence: the Xuegong (Academy), the Confucian Temple, and the Wenchang Palace, featuring the typical layout of integrating temple and school, with the temple on the left and the school on the right. Muliang Opera Performance Center: Muliang Opera is known as the 'living fossil' of the history of drama and is referred to as the 'ancestor of plays'. In 2006, Nanle Muliang Opera was listed as the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage. The Muliang Opera Performance Center is a '13th Five-Year' national cultural and natural heritage protection and utilization facility construction project, with a total construction area of 3,000 square meters, equipped with exhibition and performance theaters, viewing halls, rehearsal halls, and related auxiliary rooms. The completion of the project is of great significance for the rescue, protection, inheritance, development, and utilization of Muliang Opera. Confucian Temple Parking Lot: The Confucian Temple public parking lot also serves as a civil defense function, acting as a second-class personnel shelter during wartime, with a total construction area of 6,580.26 square meters and a total of 209 parking spaces.
