Guizhou's Little Switzerland | A breathtaking landscape you definitely can't miss

This is the Diaoshuiyan Waterfall in Nayong County, Bijie, Guizhou, and an off-the-beaten-path spot upstream that you must not miss! To get here, self-driving is the only option. ① Navigate directly to Diaoshuiyan Waterfall (via the 678 County Road in Shaowo Town, Nayong) following the navigation to the waterfall shown in picture two, where you can park your car by the roadside. ② 'Little Switzerland' is located upstream of the waterfall. You need to drive up from Diaoshuiyan Waterfall for about 10 minutes, then hike for another 10 minutes to reach it. Drive along the road on the left side of the waterfall for about 2 kilometers, and you will see a sign for 'Qixing Village.' Turn right at the sign, and after driving up for another 5-8 minutes and passing several U-turns, you will see a dirt road at a turning point, indicating you've reached the parking area P. You can park 2-3 cars on the muddy road, then hike for another 10 minutes to arrive! If you're departing from Guiyang, it's recommended to start around 9 a.m. The one-way trip takes about 2.5 hours. It's best to visit the waterfall after it has rained when the water flow is greater. Also, it's advisable to bring an extra set of clothes and shoes as you can easily get soaked in front of the waterfall. Spending about 2-3 hours playing and shooting at these two places, and then heading to Nayong County for a special iron pot meal before going home is also a great choice!
