Step into the mysterious Tibetan Buddhist temple

For lunch, a must-visit is the Jiuchi Popo shop, an old street establishment that looks somewhat dilapidated but carries a sense of historical weight. The place was packed early on, and the owner, based on the portion for two people, arranged for the signature dishes: cold mixed deboned meat, steamed beef with rice flour, and bone soup with tender vegetables. The cold mixed deboned meat was simply amazing, with chewy meat and crunchy cartilage, offering a crisp texture, and the spicy red oil made it even more delicious! This meal cost us 50 yuan for two people, which was an incredible value, with generous portions and great taste! Recommended for friends visiting Pengzhou for the first time.🍽️ After lunch, we immediately set off for today's ultimate destination: Longxing Temple! Longxing Temple is located at the north entrance of Pengzhou city, and from a distance, you can see a tall tower, a Tibetan Buddhist temple with exotic styles, known worldwide for the Shakyamuni Buddha's true body relic stupa. At first glance, it gives the illusion of being at Angkor Wat!🕌 Here, one not only feels a sense of mystery and solemnity but also finds that every casual snapshot is incredibly photogenic! Passing through the prayer wheels, walking through the temples, the pagoda gradually comes into view! The main pagoda is 81 meters high, derived from the Buddhist concept of 'returning to one after ninety-nine', with a total of 17 levels, even taller than the Leshan Giant Buddha. Climbing the pagoda requires a 20 yuan ticket, and it's all stairs to the top, which takes about 20 minutes to ascend. From there, not only can you overlook the entire Longxing Temple, but you can also have a panoramic view of Pengzhou.🏔️
