Find your inner child in Linnanmaki

Linnanmaki is the oldest and definitely the most conveniently located amusement park in Finland. This is especially true if you visit Helsinki. It was first on 27th May 1950 and is still running in the same place it was founded. The area has been growing steadily but is definitely reaching its limits quite soon due to the location of the park in the urban area of Helsinki near the center. In 2022, there are 43 different attractions. It might not sound very big number but the park management has done a good job in replacing old and obsolete equipment with new ones. One of the last big investments was the new rollercoaster called Taiga in 2019. The wooden rollercoaster in Linnanmaki built in 1951 is the oldest still used wooden rollercoaster in the world.
