Not bad, can be better

Here's my review for St Giles Southkey: Room: Quite big and spacious. The toilet is designed awkwardly so that if you open the toilet door, you won't have walking space in the shower. The shower, apparently isn't maintained very well. The water builds up after the tap runs for a while. Unfortunately the toilet is not very clean. There are yellow stains visible on the floor and walls. The room is tidy and neat. However, one thing i couldn't bear is that I'm not sure why, but there are many moths inside the room flying around, a few flying out from the closet cabinets too (I actually swat killed 3 of them). The hotel is eco friendly, meaning no free mineral water bottles. Instead, there are two water dispensers along the corridor. This, IMO, is welcoming, much better than some hotels with water dispensing in the toilet. There are also complimentary breakfast for guests, although i didn't utilize it as i believe anything free in this world would be chaotic. One big drawback is the lift system. Although there are 5 lifts, however, there's only one lift operating at anytime. So, you can imagine how irritating it is for the lift to stop almost every few levels. Though, there is an air purifier installed in every lift. Location: Superb. It is directly connected to The Mall Mid Valley Southkey, accessible via level one. Service: Check-in was very prompt. There are a total of 4 counters, it will take less than 10 minutes to check in. Check out is before 1200 and it was a breeze. It offers express check out by just slotting in your room key cards into a mail box located at level one, beside the check-in counter.
