It is one of the three major population villages in Dananshan Street. Most villagers go out for business and work, some stay behind to engage in agriculture and forestry, or engage in small businesses, small services and handicrafts. In the 24th year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1545), a branch of the Cai family moved from Jianyang, Fujian to Hexi River Poplar Banyan Tree Liao in Jieyang, and then moved here to settle down. The village was initially named Yongsheng Liao, because there were three pits and streams in front of the village, and there were stones everywhere. The front of the village was open, so it was renamed Shishi Yang.
