Ten Thousand Mu of Azaleas: Every April, azaleas bloom competitively, creating a surging tide of flowers and a vast sea of blooms, which is extremely spectacular and attracts a large number of tourists from home and abroad every year. Shimen Temple: This temple has a long history and has always been a fine place for hermits, monks and nuns to practice, and for literati to explore; it is now also a great place for climbers to pray and rest. The early April is the peak blooming period; the second variety, Rhododendron simsii, blooms in mid to late April, with the peak period in late April; the third variety, Kongtong flowers, bloom in early May, with the peak period in early May. The three flowers together are expected to make Mount Dazhu's blooming period last until late May.
