Alcatraz prison 🪶

Place: Alcatraz Island Country: USA, California, 1.6 miles off San Francisco coastline Very lovely place! Small Island in San Francisco, located one ferry away from the mainland. Visitors can take the guided tours with earpieces, or choose to explore the prison (and the island) by themselves. Quite a lot of uphill walking, so prepare to have a good climb! Quite windy as it’s in the middle of the ocean, with very nice views of San Francisco from the island. Highly recommend to all Random fact: It is heavily publicised that the Prison shut down after the great prison break of three prisoners, but in actuality, the prison had already decided to shut down due to lack of funds. #sanfransisco #usa #california
