Shenyang Financial Museum, touch the history of financial culture development

Shenyang Financial Museum is located at No. 240 Chaoyang Street, Shenhe District, and is built on the former site of the Border Industry Bank, which was controlled by the Zhang family during the Republic of China period. It is a museum that displays the history of finance. The Financial Museum building was designed by a German designer and was completed in 1930. The entire building covers an area of 4,967 square meters, with a floor area of 7,440 square meters. The main building in the front has four floors, while the rear building has three and two floors, presenting a blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles. There is a grand platform formed by 11 stone steps in front of the door, with gorgeous decorative lamps on both sides, looking very spectacular. Walking into the hall, the scene of a bank during the Republic of China period is recreated, with very realistic simulated statues whose expressions and movements are extremely lifelike, blending in with the visitors, making it hard to distinguish between real and fake. The main exhibition theme of the Shenyang Financial Museum, 'Approaching the Financial World', perfectly showcases the development of financial history and the profoundness of financial culture. The museum houses a collection of more than 600 types of paper money from over 210 countries and regions, displaying a wealth of financial relics and materials. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit and has won the China Top Ten Exhibition Excellence Award. Opening hours: 9:00-17:00, closed on Mondays.
