One of the fun experiences in Singapore if you're travelling with a kid. We booked our tickets via Trip.com which was pretty simple and straightforward. However, a time slot reservation is needed via a separate website. If you would like to catch the creatures of the night show, you have to book via their main website at least 2 hours before the showtime (7.30pm, 8.30pm, 9.30pm). We booked the earliest entrance slot time at 7.15pm, but arrived before 7pm. There was already a long queue at the entrance when we arrived. Upon entry, I advise that you go straight for the tram ride to see the wild animals. Always a better idea to catch them while there is still a bit of light (will be more difficult to see in the dark). The tram ride takes around 30 minutes. After which, go straight for the animal show. If you queue early, you get to choose better seats and get to see the little animals up close! we sat right in front and centre, and had the best view in the house! After that, you can either choose to walk the various trails, or rejoin the queue for the tram for a 2nd round in case u miss any of the animals. we walked the Wallaby trail and half the East Lodge trail. For parents with young toddlers like us, best to bring your own stroller / rent one there for SGD8, but be careful not to bring too big a stroller or else it'll be quite tight in some places to maneuver it around! also, bring a raincoat, some insect repellent patches and water. Overall, it was a really fun experience and although we didnt get to see all of the animals (some were asleep/hiding like the asiatic lions and hippos - so dont go with too high hopes, animals are not always expected to put up a show for u!), we still got pretty up close with alot of cool animals! Love the experience, would definitely recommend it!
