I explored the "Red Flat" (The Red Flat - Everyday Life in Communist Bulgaria) in Sofia, which was like a surreal "time capsule" that instantly transported me to the communist era of Bulgaria! 🕰️ This is not a traditional museum, but more like a place that recreates scenes of life. Everything in the apartment was preserved intact, including furniture, appliances, everyday items, and even newspapers and magazines from that era! I immersed myself in the daily life of an ordinary Bulgarian family in that special era, and every detail was full of stories, which was really shocking! 🤯 Recommended route: Take the M1/M4 subway line and get off at Serdika station. After exiting the station, walk for about 5-7 minutes to get there. The location is very convenient. 1-1.5 hours is enough for the tour. There are lots of little interactive surprises, as you can open drawers and rummage through the items! 📸 Every nook and cranny here is filled with a vintage feel, making it a great place for unique retro photoshoots, and you can get some great shots in no time! If you are interested in history, social culture, or want to experience a “step back in time”, this “Red Apartment” is definitely worth a visit. You will gain a deeper understanding of Bulgaria!
