Tianshui Two-Day Tour Guide, Discovering Passion and Delicacies

🚄 Departing from Xi'an, half a day in Qin'an In the spur-of-the-moment decision during the latter half of the May Day holiday, we embarked on a journey to Tianshui. We chose to stay in Qin'an, just a 15-minute high-speed train ride away from Tianshui. 🏨 Accommodation: Magnolia, offering shuttle service. 🍽️ Food recommendation: Li Li Spicy Noodles, Jiu Jiu Xiang Spicy Hot Pot. The next morning we arrived in Tianshui, and although we didn't fully indulge in the local cuisine and culture, it was worth a visit. 🎈 Tianshui Two-Day Tour 1⃣️ Qinzhou District In the morning, head to Yusheng Alley to taste Master Wu's Guagua/ Xiao Wu Crispy Pancakes/ Ye Ji Apricot Tea/ Crispy Potato Balls. These shops often have long queues, but the taste is worth the wait. Then visit the Fuxi Temple, along the way you can see the 'Little Potala Palace'. The entrance fee for Fuxi Temple is 20 yuan per person, adjacent to the Tianshui Museum. Next, visit the Yuquan Temple, which can be reached by bus🚌 or on foot, currently free of charge. For lunch, head to Guangming Alley to try Fang Ha Milk Tea, Fried Potato Chips, Three Sisters Spicy Skewers, Luo Ji Cool Skewers🍢. Personally, I find them tastier than spicy hot pot😋. Buy Gangu chili at a seasoning shop in the alley, worth a try. Afterward, tour the Hu's Residence, admire the ancient architecture, suitable for taking photos with ancient style. Then head to the Siheyuan to feel the bustling crowd, ending the day's journey with a stroll through the ancient city of Tianshui. 🌟 Tips: These attractions are not far from each other, we walked the entire way. Tianshui also offers shuttle bus services. For dinner, head to Maiji District, although the Fatty Fish restaurant was full, we tried a bowl of beef noodles at a nearby small shop, which was super delicious (Yuhuan Beef Noodles on Erma Road). 2⃣️ Maiji District 🏨 Accommodation: Maiji Hotel, convenient for visiting Maijishan Grottoes! For breakfast, you can have beef noodles at the nearby Squirrel's Home, and take away No. 31 noodle skins for lunch to enjoy at the scenic spot. Take the first bus (7:30) of Route 34 from the square opposite the hotel to Maijishan, the fare is 5 yuan per person. Get off at Maijishan Station, the tourist center is not the exit! Take a shuttle bus (15 yuan round trip) to the foot of the mountain, an 80 yuan ticket allows you to choose between Route 1/2 for the visit. After visiting the grottoes, take a minibus to Xianren Cliff (8 yuan per person), then take Route 37 to Jingtusi Temple. Jingtusi Temple feels very pure to me, a sacred place for practitioners. I deeply love it here, and the photo effects are excellent. After the tour, take Route 37 to Maiji Jiayuan to taste the long-awaited Fatty Fish, take the leftovers home, which taste even better after. In the evening, take the high-speed train back to Xi'an, returning home full of various flavors of yogurt, chili powder, and Fatty Fish. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the people of Tianshui, which opened a green channel for our pleasant journey. This passionate trip is unforgettable.
