Shiliang Waterfall

Mount Tiantai, a severely underestimated cultural and scenic mountain. When it comes to famous mountains in China, everyone is familiar with the 'Five Mountains' and 'Three Mountains'. Not only does it have the largest waterfall in China, the Tiantai Mountain Waterfall (introduced in the previous issue), but also the most beautiful temple in China - Guoqing Temple, and the 'world's first wonder' - Shiliang Waterfall. Today we introduce the Shiliang Waterfall. Compared to the spectacular Tiantai Waterfall, the Shiliang Waterfall is stunning. In the verdant valleys of Mount Tiantai, a stone spans the sky, and the waterfall gushes down, 'winds and thunder rise day and night', one has to marvel at the wonders of nature. The flow of the Tiantai Mountain Waterfall has been criticized for being artificially controlled, but here, the waterfall is naturally formed, and it shines with the surrounding temples, giving people a sense of being in a painting. The ancient Fangguang Temple under the waterfall is of the Tiantai sect, where the Five Hundred Arhats should be true. There are now five hundred Arhat statues in the temple. The temple is surrounded by mountains and accompanied by the sound of waterfalls, making it a good place for self-cultivation. As a tourist, you can also experience the beauty of the mountains and rivers and the tranquility of the temple. Having been to the Three Mountains and Five Mountains, the Four Great Buddhist Mountains, and the Four Great Taoist Mountains, compared to them, Mount Tiantai is more comfortable and pleasant. Departing from Hangzhou, it takes one hour by high-speed rail, the fare is seventy to eighty yuan, there are nearly twenty trains a day, it is very convenient, everyone might as well take the time to see.
