Taizhou Travel | A two-day and one-night guide to the sticky paradise

This Spring Festival, I finally made it to Taizhou, the place I've been longing for! Taizhou is truly a paradise for sticky rice lovers like me, and I couldn't bear to leave after all the delicious food! 🗓 Itinerary: Day1: Tiantai Waterfall—Guoqing Temple—Tuzao Head—Stay in Tiantai Day2: Tiantai→Ziyang Street→Taizhou Prefecture City Wall—Return trip ✅ Must Experience: Tiantai Waterfall A 10-minute taxi ride from Tiantai Mountain High-speed Railway Station Ticket: 100, worth seeing, great for photos 📸. Business hours: 8:00-16:00 Travel tips: Walk to the entrance viewing platform for 5 minutes, to the big waterfall for 20 minutes, to the Water Curtain Cave and back for 1 hour, to the mountain top for 2 hours and you can exit directly Free luggage storage, I'm grateful for this wise decision If you want to see something natural, you can go to Shiliang Waterfall, but it's much smaller. Guoqing Temple Lunch at the 【Sanmu Yuyu Food】 next to Guoqing Temple requires queuing. The rice fields in front of the temple are super healing . It is said that you can see different scenery throughout the four seasons. A historic and quaint temple , where the traces of history are left on the mottled walls, is a place that calms the mind as soon as you enter. Basically, no disappointments! Recommended dishes: Dried vegetable bun, sand garlic bean noodles, Fenghua fragrant taro pot A 1-hour taxi ride from Tiantai to Ziyang Street. Ziyang Street Mainly featuring various snacks, if you enter from the Xingshan Gate, follow the order below, recommended as follows: 【18 RESERVA ROASTERY】 Coffee shop Grass jelly coffee frozen latte 【Chen Ji Black Rice Mochi】 The sticky mochi filled with black sesame and red bean paste is delicious! 【Jiu Jiu Seaweed Cake】 The busiest shop on the whole street. Surprisingly, it's sweet and salty, I thought it would be salty, the crust is very crispy. 【Rongjia Snacks】 A snack shop under the Xinrongji brand. With air conditioning and the ability to order dishes, it's more suitable for resting. Built during the Eastern Jin Dynasty, it has a history of over a thousand years, mainly serving military defense and flood prevention purposes.
