Beautiful Christmas in Valencia 🇪🇸

There is a beautiful old town with many historic buildings. Just stroll through the mostly pedestrian narrow streets and discover more than 2000 years of history. Valencia was founded by the Romans in 138 B.C. Later it was reigned by Arabs for 500 years and then became Christian. Around Christmas until Dia de los 3 Reyes Magos (day of the three magic kings) on January 6 it is even more beautiful since there are many Christmas markets (photo 1-5, 15) some with nacimientos that represent when Jesus was born (photo 2) and at night the streets are nicely illuminated. There are also huge Christmas trees on almost every square (photo 1). In Valencia I started to study Spanish and this is already my third trip coming to this charming city. Getting There - By plane from many European cities By AVE hispeed train 2 hours from Madrid Attractions - 1. La Lonja de la Seda (silk extrade building which is an UNESCO world heritage) 2. Plaza del Ayuntamiento (photo 14-16) with many renovated old buildings such as the telegraph building (photo 16 on the right) and where you can ice scating (photo 16) 7. Biioparc Zoo 8.
