Lingshan Scenic Spot

Lingshan Scenic Spot is located on the shore of Taihu Lake, covering an area of about 30 hectares. It is large in scale and magnificent in momentum, integrating natural landscapes and Buddhist culture, and blending traditional art and modern technology. The history of Lingshan can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty more than 1000 years ago. It is said that Xuanzang returned from the West Heaven to fetch the scriptures, traveled to the southeast, came to Xiaolingshan, saw the 'layered mountains and greenery', the scenery was extraordinary, greatly appreciated, and said 'No different from the victory of Lingjiu in the Western Region'! So he named this mountain Xiaolingshan. These histories can only prove that Lingshan's ancestors have also been broad, and the current Lingshan Scenic Spot was rebuilt in three phases starting in 1994. The architectural layout of Lingshan Scenic Spot has Buddhist cultural connotations, but as an outsider, I basically don't understand these, and I can only chant Amitabha Buddha without knowing why. The right hand of the Lingshan Buddha points to the sky, called the 'Fearless Seal', which means to remove pain for all beings; the left hand points to the ground, called the 'Wish Granting Seal', which means to bless all beings with peace and happiness. The Nine Dragons Bathing, the flowers blooming and seeing the Buddha, reappear the story of the birth of Sakyamuni.
