Chinese Arcade City

Chinese Arcade City is located in the Hedong Old City of Wuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. There are 22 existing arcade streets with a total length of 7 kilometers. The longest street reaches 2530 meters, and there are 560 arcade buildings. The scale is large and the number is the most in China. The Arcade City is a witness to the prosperity of modern commerce in Wuzhou, a microcosm of Wuzhou's development history, and the water gateway of the 'Two Guang' ports. In 1897, Wuzhou was opened as a commercial port and became a famous commercial port in the Pearl River Basin. In order to facilitate business, a large number of arcades were built in Wuzhou, merchants gathered, business was booming, and at its peak, there were more than 1500 businesses. From this, the Chinese Arcade City was formed.
