Xiamen Garden Botanical Garden, commonly known as Wanshi Botanical Garden, is located in Wanshi Mountain, southeast of Xiamen Island, Fujian Province. It is backed by Wu Laofeng, Nanputuo Temple and Xiamen University, and is adjacent to Zhongshan Road Commercial Circle. Founded in 1960, it covers an area of 4.93 square kilometers and is the first botanical garden in Fujian Province. It is an important part of Gulangyu-Wanshishan Scenic Area, integrating plant landscape, natural landscape and human landscape. Xiamen Garden Botanical Garden is the first batch of AAAA-level tourist areas in the country.
