The Luhu Summit Campsite is a nature reserve in Maoming City, Guangdong Province, located at the highest point of the eastern foothills of the Yunwu Mountains in western Guangdong. It is on the watershed mountain pass between Magui and Qianpai, with a volcanic lake at the summit. The lake water is clear, and the slopes around the lake are blooming with various flowers all year round, such as wild peach blossoms, wild plum blossoms, gangren flowers, camellia flowers, etc., with the fragrance of flowers being overwhelming. The pine forests are shaded with green trees, and wild deer used to drink by the lake, hence the name Luhu Summit. It is a great place for camping with birds singing and flowers fragrant. If you want to go up the mountain, you must prepare for three issues. 1. It takes more than two hours to drive from Maoming to the Luhu Summit Ecological Reserve. There is only one road leading to Luhu Summit, and it is very narrow, making it difficult to pass other vehicles. It is best to park a bit further away. It is recommended to prepare a camping car, and there is a short distance of about 1 kilometer (15 minutes) to the camping spot. 2. The campsite is an ecological reserve where fires are not allowed. The nighttime temperature in the high-altitude areas of the south is now only 3~5 degrees, which is quite cold, so pay attention to keeping warm. 3. At the campsite, pay attention to protecting the ecological environment and hygiene. The garbage generated after camping must be taken away. Protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility.
