Until 1952, a violent storm destroyed the Drum Tower that had stood for hundreds of years, and since then Xuzhou had no more Drum Tower! As time passed, Xuzhou finally began to rebuild the Drum Tower in 2020, and it has now been fully constructed. On the basis of the original Dacheng Gate and Dacheng Hall, the new Drum Tower, Sutra Pavilion, and other ancient architectural complexes have been built, divided into four major areas: the Drum Tower, Confucian Temple, Miao Street, and Cultural and Creative District, which tourists acclaim as Xuzhou's 'Confucius Temple + Xinjiekou'! The snow scene grinds the sky to produce powdered clouds, hiding the sun and revealing rosy clouds. A loud noise startles the ear, as the towering Drum Tower guards the years of splendor.
