Beijing from above (Jingshan Park)

Being the highest point of old Beijing, Jingshan Hill boasts some of the most amazing views of the city. From the top, you can see The Forbidden City and the famous Beijing skyline. During the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, Jingshan park served as an imperial garden for the royal families to enjoy and worship their ancestors. It was opened up to the public in 1928. It’s a great place to wander around. There are benches under the trees and the biggest peony garden in Beijing. Be sure to visit Mr Shi after for some delicious fried dumplings.
