Zigong Lantern Festival is indeed the pinnacle among lantern festivals. Having heard of its fame since childhood, I finally got the chance to go with friends to see the lanterns in Zigong this year! Here's to share my experience and tips for the lantern festival: Chengdu🚅Zigong: Direct high-speed train, just over an hour. After arriving at Zigong station, it's just a ten-minute taxi ride, which is very convenient. ⏰The opening hours of the lantern festival venue are 16:00, but you have to wait until 18:30 for the lights to come on in the park after it gets dark. PS: I suggest everyone to go in early, then walk to the inside, and start taking pictures as soon as the lights are on, as there are not many people inside at that time. If you enter after the lights are on, it's so crowded that it's difficult to take portraits. There are thousands of lantern sets at the Zigong Lantern Festival site, dazzling to the eyes. A few areas that left a deep impression on me are: ✔️The incredibly stunning Dunhuang murals in the Dreamlike Flying to the Sky area, truly amazing! ✔️The Wuhua Tianbao area, which gives a feeling of dreaming back to the Tang Dynasty. ✔️The Salt Street Lantern Market is very lively, with performances, and a strong New Year atmosphere～ ✔️The Pop Mart lantern area, super cute and adorable!
