Is this the Vietnamese version of Disney? Guide to a one-day tour of Bana Hills
This time coming to Da Nang, Vietnam, the biggest surprise is this place called Bana Hills. This resort built by the French at an altitude of 1400 meters on the mountain has now become a Vietnamese version of Disney that integrates dining, accommodation, and entertainment.
💝Must-visit
1. The Hand of God Bridge (go before 8 am or after 5 pm)
2. French Village (suitable for taking photos, most beautiful in the evening)
3. Manual roller coaster (70,000 Vietnamese dong, just too short in duration)
4. Indoor amusement park (various amusement facilities, including an indoor drop tower)
5. Castle mini train (enjoy the exterior of the castle and the scenery of Bana Hills)
6. The Great Buddha (standing on the mountain top overlooking all beings)
📸Photo spots:
There are many places in Bana Hills that are worth visiting and taking photos
1. The square in front of the Mercure Hotel entrance
2. The Hand of God Bridge
3. Castle train
4. Cable car
5. The Great Buddha
6. Pink castle
🛏️Accommodation
📍Mecure Danang (Mercure Bana Hills)
This beautiful hotel is worth staying for a night, so you won't be too rushed when visiting Bana Hills
🔸It's like living in a European castle or an upgraded version of Moganshan's Naked Heart Castle. Open the window and you'll see the spire church and the central square. The most beautiful moment of Bana Hills is actually after four or five o'clock when the tourists go down the mountain.
Lying on the windowsill of the room's attic, you feel like a princess on the run waiting for a prince to rescue.
🔸Staying on the mountain, you can take another cable car passage exclusive to the hotel, without squeezing with tourists, basically no queuing
🔸In the morning and evening, you can take photos of the Hand of God Bridge when tourists go down the mountain
🍽️Dining
🔸There are many packages online that include lunch buffet and tickets. In fact, there are many restaurant choices on the mountain, with Chinese, Korean, and Western cuisines, so you don't need to waste time on an expensive buffet at noon.
🔸If you stay at the Mercure Hotel, you can have brunch in the buffet restaurant in the morning and solve lunch as well.
🔸For dinner, you can go to the beer square, where there is music, beer, and barbecue, and the atmosphere is great.
🎫Tickets
🔸It is recommended to stay on the mountain for one night, so the ticket, which is also the cable car ticket, will be cheaper by a few tens of yuan.
🔸If you don't stay on the mountain, tickets are divided into day and night sessions, and entering after 3 pm for the night session will be cheaper
🚠Transportation
🔸You can take a grab taxi from the city center of Da Nang to the foot of Bana Hills, which costs about 90-100 yuan, and then take the cable car up the mountain.
🔸There is a free bus from the city center to Bana Hills every day, departing from the little bana hill restaurant entrance

Ba na Hills
#danangtrip We visited the Bana Hills Sun World around Christmas time. December is the rainy season and the entire place was enveloped in mist, giving it a mysterious charm.
We were not interested in the rides, and many of them were shut due to remain and mist. Instead we explored the charming sites and arenas of different countries that they have created. It is a great experience indeed.
The cable car (supposed to longest) takes you to almost 1500 meters up in about 30 minutes. The change in weather and temperature is rapid. So keep a set of clothing layer hasn't.
The place loses a star, at least 1 if not more, for the lack of service. There is absolutely no one to guide you or help you if you need directions or any kind of assistance. Language is a big barrier too. In service department it is no where near Disney. Be ready with a good map.
Hidden treasure in Da Nang, Vietnam! Capturing the perfect moment!
Da Nang's new bridge in Vietnam is trending. Don't miss this visual feast! Welcome to the 'Hand of Buddha' bridge. A magnificent bridge that seems to be held up by Buddha's hand, located at an altitude of 1400 meters on Ba Na Mountain. Every angle is a stunning picture. This popular check-in spot is about to attract tourists from all over, are you ready?
It takes nearly 50 minutes to get to Ba Na Mountain from the center of Da Nang. Take the world's longest cable car, spend more than 20 minutes going up the mountain to see the Hand of Buddha bridge, the view on a sunny day and a foggy day will give you two completely different feelings.
The wind on the mountain is very cool, especially comfortable.
Everywhere is clean, the photos are particularly good, the atmosphere is absolutely!
The giant hand under the bridge of Ba Na Mountain in Da Nang, like moving an absurd dream into reality!
Cable car operation time: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Highlights
1. Day Trip to Ba Na Hills
- Sun World Theme Park: quaint little french village with aesthetic buildings and fun rides. both indoor and outdoor. most enjoyed the alpine coaster, bumper cars and swing chair ride. also had an exhilarating ride on the tower of terror
- Famous Hand Bridge: majestic, famous golden bridge that attracts hordes of tourists. also had an underrated flower garden and greek tour. nice place but way too crowded, impossible to take pictures without people in the background. amazing weather - cool and not humid. a light jacket would be useful.

2. Day Trip to Hoi An
- Hoi An Ancient Town: quaint town with a huge river and many many lanterns. super pretty and an excellent location for photos. many things to do - cafe hopping, souvenir shopping, ceramics, bike riding, even a bump boat ride or the spinning coconut boat ride. amazing experience, though come prepared as it’s very hot and humid

Night Walk At Ba Na Hills
#wheretogo
I actually arrived at SunWorld Bana Hills close to sunset and all the rides were closing, so we rushed to play some of them such as the alphine coaster. After dinner, we were really surprised the whole resort so empty!
We did knew the day trippers would be gone but its amazing how the other hotel guests are hiding in their rooms. We walked round and round just admiring everything because I have not been to Europe and the cold weather. Both of these are not available in Singapore where I come from.
There are many photo spots with nicely decorated flowers on them apart from all the nice building and architecture. You will also get a sneak balcony preview of other higher rooms tier that are deeper into the resort.
🇻🇳French Village in Ba Na Hills🇻🇳
🇻🇳Our Danang Diaries🇻🇳
Tapping into the French Flair here at the very Epcot-like French Village where we walk on cobblestone streets and see a lot of French-inspired buildings and French restaurants🇫🇷The buildings and whole place really makes you feel you are in a French Village and the weather is pretty cool up here which we really liked. There are restaurants that offer different kinds of cuisine and areas for you to sit and relax in too.

🇻🇳💕Hello Sun World Bana Hills💕🇻🇳
😍Our Danang Diaries🇻🇳
We booked a car to go to Bana Hills, ride was about 45 minutes. As we had the tickets already, all we had to do was scan the QR code just before the Cable Car entrance.
The Bana Hills cable car is one of the park’s most famous attraction – the Ba Na Cable Car, an extraordinary, European-built system that holds the world record for the longest nonstop single-track cable car ride, at over 19,000 feet in length😱
We had the cable car all to ourselves and what a ride it was…smooth, bumpy and going higher and higher and higher🙈Such beautiful sights from above. We really enjoyed our ride.

Pretty Castle of Ba Na Hills
One of the most attractive things in Ba Na Hills is the castle. Who doesn't love this pretty architecture? The vibe also makes us feel like living in a Kingdom.
In the castle, you also can watch the performance of dancers. They dressed up like princes and princesses. This attraction is also family-friendly. Kids and adults can enjoy it.
To reach this castle, you need to take the cable car twice from the entrance. Then, walk a few hundred meters to reach the castle (you can see it from the second cable car station).

Fun Day in Ba Na Hills
Experienced a fun day in Ba Na Hills Da Nang.
Since there are a lot of things to see here, you can explore the places slowly. Prepare at least four to six hours to visit Ba Na Hills. Linh Ung Pagoda, French Village, and other amazing spots are worth to visit.
They also sell a lot of foods and beverages inside the park, so you won't be hungry. The price is quite reasonable (some of them I think a bit pricey, but it's okay since it's a tourist attraction). And another plus point is: it's easy to find toilets! ☺️
The best part of Ba Na Hills for me was the Cable-Car (it was my first time 🤣). First ride took almost 20 minutes to reach the main location of Ba Na Hills.

Fresh Air in Ba Na Hills
Happy to visit Ba Na Hills to spend the summer holiday in Da Nang. Every corner of this place is instagrammable. I guarantee that you'll take more than hundreds picture after visiting it. You can enjoy beautiful scenery, pretty gardens, amazing buildings, fun amusement park, as well as cool breeze and fresh air of Da Nang.
If you're going to visit Ba Na Hills with kids and elderly people, please pay attention more to the weather and walking distance. The area of Ba Na Hills is super huge, and might be tiring for some people. Also, it's better to bring jacket/sweater for warm yourself and your family.

The Renowned Beauty of BaNa Hills!
[GETTING THERE]
(1) From Da Nang to Ba Na Hills
Da Nang is famous for its distinctive bridges and being the cleanest city in Vietnam in spite of the numerous tourists strolling along the city. Hotels here, however, are more expensive than Hoi An.
Ba Na Hills is 25 km away from Da Nang, 45 minutes by car, 1 and a half hours by bus. Since the roads are generally well-maintained and there's a free motorbike parking space near the ticket office, renting a motorbike is an easy option.
(2) From Hoi An to Ba Na Hills
Hoi An is well known for its perfect picture of ancient Town depicting the centuries-old aesthetic of both indigenous and foreign.
Ba Na Hills is located 70 km northwest of Central Hoi An. It will take you 1-2 hours to get there.
[ATTRACTIONS]
Ba Na Hills is well known for its resemblance to Disneyland with its remarkable gothic architecture and preeminent fantasy theme park.
The world's highest and longest cable cars will take you to 'out of this world' striking destination. When you get off the cable car, you would like to wear more clothes as the temperature up there is sometimes cooler. Walk a few steps to reach the golden bridge held aloft by giant hands. This provides you with a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley below.
After the Golden Bridge, you may wanna look at your guide map to see your next destinations. Well, you have to look for the cable car stations to go to your desired spot. This Wonderland has a replica of a French Village. Accompanied by restaurants and tourists from across the universe who are ambling around, you would feel the vibe of being in France. I'm not gonna spoil all the beauties hidden in this paradise. You MUST go and discover more. #trip #timetotravel #banahills
Amazing Buildings in Ba Na Hills
Ba Na Hills located in the highland of Da Nang, 50 minutes to one hour driving/riding from the Da Nang city center. It has many beautiful buildings and parks. I guarantee that everyone who comes here will have at least hundred pictures on their phone, since every corner is pretty instagrammable. The weather also super fine. Very suitable for relaxing with family and friends, especially during summer holiday. Entrance ticket is around 900,000 VND for adults and 750,000 VND for kids ☺️
#timetotravel #banahills #danang
Pretty Castle of Ba Na Hills
This area in Ba Na Hills will also be everyone's favorite. The name is Lunar Castle. If you wanna go here from the entrance of Ba Na Hills, you have to ride on cable car twice. It's really beautiful. There will also a performance by a group of dancers who dress up like citizen of the kingdom. Super impressive!
Best time to get here is early morning before 9 AM. And spend at least 4-5 hours here to enjoy every pretty corners of Ba Na Hills.

Stunning Ba Na Hills Vietnam
This place is absolutely a must see and do when in Vietnam. Its like nothing you have experienced before. The surreal size of the hands holding the golden bridge and the views that follow are breathtaking. The manicured gardens and castle like buildings make you forget you are at a 'park'. You will need all day and that time will go fast with multi level attractions for all ages#banahills #vietnam #familytravel
Solo Serenades: My Da Nang Discovery 🎵🌴
With summer in full swing, I embarked on a trip through Vietnam, starting from Ho Chi Minh and making my way to Mui Ne, Dalat, and Nha Trang alongside friends.
However, the real essence of solitude was felt when I set out alone from Nha Trang to Da Nang.
At 7:30 pm, I boarded a sleeper bus for an 11-hour journey. After arriving at the drop-off point, I hailed a taxi, making my way to a cozy hotel by the seaside. Around 7 am, I arrived and left my luggage, eager to explore.
First stop: Ba Na Hills. The cable rides, panoramic views, and the castle left me spellbound. And the food? Simply amazing. Despite being alone, the staff kindly offered to help capture memories in photos throughout the hills.
The first half of the day was spent at Ba Na Hills, as the excitement blended with fatigue. A quick return to my hotel for rest, and later, a leisurely evening walk by the seaside, near the iconic Dragon Bridge.
Da Nang, with its beauty and charm, provided the perfect backdrop to begin my solo travel tales. 🌅🌴 #FirstSoloAbroad #DaNangDiaries #vietnamtravel #solotravel #banahills

French Village of Ba Na Hills
Another part of Ba Na Hills that attract many people to come and take photos with their loved ones, French Village. The design of all building in this place was inspired by French/European style. There were also a lot of flowers around the corners. It made us feel like traveling in Europe.
In this area also you can find Mercure Hotel of Ba Na Hills. So, if you're going to stay inside the French Village, you can stay at the Mercure Hotel to experience full of European vibes 😍

Kingdom Vibes in Ba Na Hills
Ba Na Hills is an extraordinary tourist attraction. I was super happy to be here. Almost every corner is a masterpiece of. Make us as visitors feel that the ticket price is worth all experience and view.
One of my favorite part was the kingdom vibes. Ba Na Hills built some corners that made us feel like living in a castle. For getting here, you have to ride on the cable car twice. Don't worry, it's free and already includes in the ticket you bought. You should experience this too ✨

Ba Na Hills has too many beautiful spots. That's why I'm telling you to prepare at least half day to visit this place.
This place is family and kids-friendly. People who came here usually travel in groups. And I suggest you to travel with someone since there are a lot of spots that will attract you to take photos there. But solo travel is fun too 😸 I also went here by myself haha.

Ba Na Hills Summer Beer Festival at Beer Plaza
#summerfest
During our summer vacation at Da Nang, we made a half day trip to Ba Na Hills in the evening, and there is a dinner buffet included at Beer Plaza during the Summer Festival. There spread is very scumptious and there are a wide variety of food, local and international fusion alike. The Festival also features several music band and performers which allows diners to have dinner and watch the show at the same time. Each guests were also given coupon for 2 beers and you also may opt for a coconut or juice instead of alcohol beverages. The Fiesta is very happening and the surroundings are full with laughter and groups chit chatting, with very good atmosphere. A very good choice for opting the evening visit option.
A must visit - Bana Hills
For easy access to Bana Hills, do arrange a car pickup from your hotel at 8am since there are a lot of activities to be done here. Best to buy all cable car tickets online to avoid the long queue. Ticket entrance is inclusive of the 20mins cable car ride and rides in the indoor theme park. Luge ride is a must do there … u need to queue about 30 to 40 mins since this is the highlight activity of the said place. But once it’s 3pm the queue is short. The walk on the hand bridge is quite short but there’s tonne of ppl at every hour. U will manage to get a clear background shot somehow, just wait for the appropriate timing. This is the best day of the entire Danang trip.
Ba Na Hills: A captivating escape to a wonderland
Ba Na Hills, much like Genting highlands (a trip moment written by me), nestled in the lush greenery of Vietnam's central region, is a captivating destination that transports you to a world of enchantment and beauty. This mountain resort offers a delightful blend of natural landscapes, thrilling attractions, and timeless charm.
As you ascend the mountains on the iconic cable car ride, a breathtaking panorama unfolds before your eyes. Verdant forests, mist-covered peaks, and cascading waterfalls paint a picture of pure serenity. The cable car itself holds a Guinness World Record for its impressive length, heightening the sense of anticipation and excitement.
Upon reaching the summit, you'll step into a fairytale-like realm. The French-inspired architecture of the Fantasy Park transports you to a European village, complete with charming streets, quaint houses, and vibrant gardens. Each corner invites exploration and discovery, with captivating photo opportunities at every turn.
Don't miss the awe-inspiring Golden Bridge, an architectural marvel that seems to be suspended in mid-air. Its elegant design, held up by colossal stone hands, offers a unique photo opportunity and a chance to marvel at the blend of human creativity and natural beauty.
When it comes to dining, Ba Na Hills offers a myriad of options to satisfy every palate. From Vietnamese delicacies to international cuisines, the restaurants serve up delectable dishes against a backdrop of stunning views.

Ba Na Hills by Night, French Village
#wecreate
Ba Na Hills, located 30km away from Da Nang city centre, is a theme park with various spots and scenes to be enjoyed. One of the package available is Ba Na Hills by night, whereby visitors enter the themepark after 3pm and enjoy the night view of the French Village. Although it is created a replica, the village is so real that you feel yourself being situated I the coze French Village. Strolling around the village is romantic enough and viewing the various hotels situated in the Village itself. Combining with the chilly weather, it is a great choice to escape the heat and the traffic from the city.
