🐅 Majestic Northeast Tiger Forest Park ✨🤩✨
#localescapes
The Siberian Tiger Park is a comprehensive enterprise that integrates breeding, scientific research, protection, and viewing. It stands as a unique tourist attraction in Heilongjiang Province and holds the distinction of being the world's largest base for the artificial breeding of Amur tigers. Its primary mission is to protect and conduct scientific research on the Northeast Tiger while developing and utilizing its tourism potential to support conservation and research efforts through tourism income.
Siberian Tiger Park covers an impressive area of 1.44 million square meters. By the end of 2022, the park had nearly a thousand live Siberian tigers, earning it the title of the "Thousand Tiger Park." Annually, it hosts over 400,000 visitors.
The Siberian Tiger Park has established various tourist attractions, including a wild breeding experimental area, wild domestication zone, adult tiger enclosure, breeding tiger area, tiger breeding section, lion and tiger zone, African lion habitat, tiger king territory, cub area, walking zone, and tiger viewing platform.
Here, you can observe over 300 purebred Northeast tigers and also marvel at a variety of large and rare feline animals such as white tigers, white lions, lion-tiger hybrids, black jaguars, leopards, cheetahs, and African lions. This journey typically lasts about an hour. While the pedestrian area, Menghu Paradise, and Tiger Viewing Terrace are accessible by foot, other attractions require car rides for exploration. You can search for tiger tracks and immerse yourself in the majestic scenery, providing endless enjoyment.
To cater to the needs of tourists seeking to get closer to nature and explore the wild, the Siberian Tiger Park has thoughtfully designed and refurbished the "Adventure No.1" sightseeing car. It serves as a platform for tourists to peacefully interact with the Northeast Tiger. The car body is protected by steel mesh, allowing visitors to admire the tigers and feed them through this layer of protection, enabling "zero-distance" contact with the Northeast Tiger.
The establishment of the Northeast Tiger Forest Park not only contributes to the conservation of the Northeast Tiger but also provides a unique tourist attraction for nature enthusiasts.

Harbin’s Siberian Tiger Park 🐅
#2023travelwish
During my Summer vacation, I decided to visit Harbin and it was a blast!
Amongst other things, the Tiger Park is quite popular in Harbin. You get to have a safari style experience and even feed the tigers. There’s also a circus and I suggest you buy a ticket; it was pretty cool!
Cost: 210¥ for the entrance ticket, the show and the safari bus tour. If I understood correctly, you can feed the tigers for an extra 210¥. (Pay the bus driver)
In 2023, I’d love to go back to Harbin to see the ice festival! 🇨🇳

Beautiful Beasts in Harbin
Getting There - Siberian Tiger Park China, Heilongjiang, Harbin, Songbei District, 松北街88号 邮政编码: 150025 you can take a Didi directly there
Attractions - the park has many animals, including several tigers that you can feed up close and personal in a protected vehicle.
Food & Restaurants - there was some small stands outside but they didn't sell a lot
Honestly this is one of the better animal sanctuaries I've been to in the whole of Asia, the animals are well taken care of, if not a little over fed, and they seem to have more room for roaming. I'd recommend if you haven't been as of yet.

Feed the tiger 🔝 experience
Harbin has a place where you can feed a tiger. You will be in a protected bus and go through the park. There are more than 800 tigers, lions, leopards... You will be so close to all of them. You can feed them through the window and take amazing pictures. If you want to feed them you have to pay 200RMB but it is worth it. The bus driver will touch the horn and tigers will surround the bus, can you imagine that?
Tickets are not expensive and the experience is unique!

Siberian Tiger Park, Harbin
Tickets: 130 RMB/person
Siberian Tiger Park covers an area of more than a million square meters (more than 250 acres) in an area just to the north of Sun Island Park across a branch of the Songhua River. It was set up as a place to breed and house Siberian tigers.
The breeding program has been very successful, and there are now about 800 Siberian tigers (about 100 can be viewed) there along with other large cats like lions and pumas.
You can also feed the tigers for a fee. I read that before they used to be fed live chickens, this time (2022) it was just frozen meat.

Glimpsing tigers at the Heilongjiang Northeast Tiger Forest Park
The Northeast Tiger Forest Park is one of the first batch of national parks in China. Such a 'Tiger and Leopard Ecology Exploration Trip' is not only a profound understanding of the conservation of Northeast tigers and leopards in China, but also a tribute to the first batch of national parks in China.
This is the world's largest Northeast tiger breeding and breeding base, covering an area of 1.44 million square meters, adjacent to the Sun Island Scenic Area. The tiger garden itself occupies 360,000 square meters and was established for the rescue and protection of the world's endangered species, the Northeast tiger.
The scenic area has more than a dozen viewing spots where you can see rare animals such as white tigers, snow tigers, white lions, ligers, cheetahs, leopards, jaguars, African lions, Bengal tigers, black jaguars, and pumas, with a tour lasting about 1 hour.

Heilongjiang Travel | Come to Harbin to see the Northeast 'Meow Meow'!
If we're talking about the recently popular tourist cities, it has to be Harbin, where buddies from all over the country flock to experience the northern charm~
Besides visiting the Ice and Snow World or Central Street, how can you miss the Northeast 'Meow Meow', the Siberian tigers? Make a beeline for the Siberian Tiger Park and roam among the tigers in a special tour vehicle~!
There are two types of tour vehicles, one is the regular sightseeing car, and the other is the thrilling car, the difference being that you can feed the tigers from the thrilling car. Apart from the sightseeing cars, there is also a walking area where you can feed the animals and see other creatures like ligers, white tigers, and leopards~
We found a local guide (who is also a driver) on Ctrip, who not only conveniently takes us to each scenic spot but also chatting with a Northeasterner is an interesting thing in itself, perfect for passing the time on the road. Look for chartered cars on Ctrip with a driver-guide!

Harbin Winter Vacation Northern Expedition Parent-Child Tour, this article is all you need!
✈️Shanghai-Shenyang🚄Shenyang-Harbin (Direct flights are expensive, round-trip adult airfare from Shanghai Hongqiao to Shenyang including tax is just over 2000, children 1900, high-speed rail one-way adult 250, children 125)
Must-do with kids in Harbin:
🔵Ice and Snow World: 🎫Adult: 328 Child: 240 (Free for under 1.2 meters, tips: For children around 1.2 meters from the south, it's advised not to buy tickets immediately but to measure on-site before purchasing). Children under 1.6 meters cannot play on the big slide alone, and the queue for the big slide is 5-6 hours, which we gave up on. We saw the ice sculptures, played on the regular slides, stepped on the free bicycles, and drifted, etc. The best time to visit is around 4 pm; you can see the sunset and enjoy both the daytime and nighttime views. It's very hard to get a taxi when leaving the park, so it's recommended to take the subway at the entrance, which is also very close to Central Street, just three subway stops away. Remember to keep warm! It's really very cold!
🔴Siberian Tiger Park: Highly recommended!! Ticket 🎫: Adult regular car + ticket 105/person, children over 1.2 meters 65/person. The thrilling car is 20 more expensive. Adorable Northeastern golden retrievers, go early! Before 10:30 am!!! First, there are fewer people, and second, the tigers are more active after being fed. We chose the regular car which had a better view, but you can choose the thrilling car, which allows feeding. After driving around the park, there's a walking area and then you exit the park. The visit won't take too long and there's no need to walk, the golden retrievers will pose in front of the windows, and the park's souvenirs are also well made, the little tiger bags are very cute!
🟢Central Street: Madieer ice pops (supposedly there are 5 yuan ones, I paid more), Qiulin Kvass, Wandashan, and so on. We held a snow fox here, the price was 30, and the time was very short. Not recommended, it's suggested to go to the Songhua River to hold one.
🔴Music Corridor Snowman Photography: Buy a snowman coffee for 48 yuan at 152 Yuanjiang Road, you can buy a voucher, then take photos with various angles that are available online. Music Park also has different snowmen.
🟢Saint Sophia Cathedral: Take photos! Opposite the church, there's the Daoli Market where you can buy fridge magnets! 5 yuan! It's recommended to travel by subway as this section is very congested!
🟤Eat: Deep-fried cake is highly recommended (I randomly ordered from a takeout place and it was delicious), Youwei Barbecue - said to have been visited by Xue Zhiqian, the barbecue and chicken racks are also good. Shanhetun Iron Pot Stew: Just order a set meal, get a number early. Laochang Spring Pancake: Delicious! Trust me, a set meal for two adults and two children is enough, don't order too much!! Eating is relatively cheap, we spent 560 for one adult and one child over three days.
The above are my experiences, overall in Harbin if you stay outdoors for more than 10 minutes you start to feel cold🥶, don't forget your hat, cotton mask, and gloves!! I'll update about Shenyang next time! Hope kids from the south and the north all have fun!

Northeast Tiger Forest Park | Come and stroke the big cats of the Northeast Golden Gradient!
How can you not see the Northeast Tiger when you come to Harbin? After Harbin's fame, even the Northeast Tiger prides itself on 'Just call me Mimi' which is really too cute.
After arriving at the Northeast Tiger Forest Park, there are two queues at the entrance, one for sightseeing cars and one for thrilling cars. It took about 20 minutes to get into the visitor center and get on the car. The seats of the sightseeing car all face the window. It is recommended to sit in the middle position, closer to the driver (left side), where there seem to be more tigers, but this is quite random.
On the sightseeing car, we went through six or seven gates, and each area could see about four or five tigers. The sightseeing car is divided into ordinary cars and thrilling cars. The former can only watch through the window, while the latter can feed the tigers through the iron net.
The driver said that the heaviest Northeast Tiger in the park weighs 640 jin, which is really a super large golden gradient!
The sightseeing car takes about 40 minutes. After getting off the car, you can walk on the footpath and watch the tigers from the corridor. You can also buy wild chickens and meat strips to feed them. The price ranges from 50 to 200.
On the sightseeing footpath, you can see some 'disobedient' tigers in the cage and little tigers poking their heads out, which is very cute.
After walking out of the sightseeing footpath, the visit is over. If you take pictures and stop and go, it takes about 2 hours. The exit is actually near the entrance. There are many tiger-shaped designs that can be photographed. The Fat Tiger IP also has many shapes here.
The Northeast Tiger Forest Park is worth a visit. It's fun to see the tigers' wild predation, the beasts running on the snow and slipping on their buttocks.
Transportation recommendation: It is recommended to take a taxi or drive by yourself. There is no direct public transportation.
Ticket price: Adult + thrilling car 130/person, Adult + sightseeing car 110/person, half price for students and the elderly.

I'm in Harbin, and I'm shocked by the Siberian tiger
I've seen tigers in the zoos in the south before, but when I saw the Siberian tiger with my own eyes, its size dropped my jaw. It's not an exaggeration to say that its paw might be bigger than my face‼️
🚇About transportation
