The Yarlung Zangbo River originates from the Tanggula Mountains in Tibet, it is like a lifeline, flowing with pure snow water and glacial meltwater. Under the sunlight, the river presents a charming blue, as if a magical scroll is displayed in front of my eyes. The steep cliffs and undulating mountains along the way are like barriers guarding this majestic river. By the Yarlung Zangbo River, I felt the power of nature and the grandeur of the universe. The scenery of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau travel is on the road. The Tanggula Mountain Range is one of the main mountain ranges traversing southwestern China, basically belonging to the near east-west trending mountain system. This mountain range is composed of two main mountain ranges, namely the Karakoram in the west and the Tanggula Mountain extending to the east. The mountain range originates from the Pamir Mountain knot, starting from the east side of the Indus River on the China-Pakistan border, and connecting to the Hengduan Mountains in the east, spanning 22° in longitude. In terms of administrative divisions, this mountain range is divided into Ali, Naqu, Changdu City in Tibet and Yushu area in Qinghai Province. The Tanggula Mountain Range is located in the hinterland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and is the boundary mountain between the Tibet Autonomous Region and Qinghai Province. The western part of the mountain range starts between the Tuotuo River and the Zajia Zangbu River at the source of the Yangtze River, and the eastern part ends at the Jiequ in the upper reaches of the Lancang River. It is about 1,000 kilometers long and 150 kilometers wide. The peaks are generally 5,500-6,000 meters above sea level. The main peak, Geladandong Snow Mountain, is 6,621 meters above sea level. With the hot spring pass of the Qinghai-Tibet Highway as the boundary, the western section of the mountain body generally runs east-west, and the eastern section turns to the northwest-southeast direction. It is not only the source of the Yangtze River, but also the watershed of the Indian Ocean water system and the Pacific water system.
