1154 Tallinn first recorded. In 1219 the Danes built castles here and occupied Tallinn from 1227 to 1346. The word source of Tallinn consists of Danish and Bunker, meaning Danish bunker. After the restoration of independence in 1991, Estonia became the capital.
Take a walk on Tallinn Street, it's really a building everywhere, you want to use the camera to record, how unique and tasteful.
For the convenience of regional governance, the city of Tallinn is divided into eight administrative regions (Estonian)
The viewing platform on the Old Town of Toompea is the ideal location for photographing the standard ID of Tallinn Old Town. The viewing platform does not accept tickets and is open all day. The northernmost viewing platform is called Patkuli vaateplatvorm, where you can take pictures of several towers on the west side of the old city wall and St. Olav's Church. The best time to shoot is in the afternoon or sunset. The viewing platform on the east is called Kohtuotsa vaateplatvorm, where you can see the entire old city. Of course, the visual center is still St. Olav's Church, and the most famous "The Times We Had". The most suitable shooting time is In the afternoon or at sunset. The
St. Olaf Church Tower is the oldest and best view of the Old Town, overlooking the entire Old Town, as well as the New Town and the Baltic Sea. This is the ideal location for shooting down the city of Tallinn, the Upper Town of Toompea and the churches in the city. Many postcard-level Tallinn ID photos come from here. Since the old city is located on the south side of the church, in theory, the old city will be backlit all day, so the light and shadow effect will be somewhat poor, and the backlighting effect in the morning may be weaker than in the afternoon.
One of the three Baltic countries, Estonia and Helsinki, across the sea, this former Soviet Union republic, I have heard very little before, the two-hour ferry arrived in their capital Tallinn, this is an authentic The medieval city, cobbled alleys, antique metal street lamps, Gothic church steeples and medieval squares, is the only city in Northern Europe that maintains the medieval appearance and style. In the short two hours of the evening, it was impossible to walk in the ancient city square, and all kinds of special products were fascinating.
Tallinn Old Town A journey through the Middle Ages
It takes about 2 hours by boat from Helsinki to Tallinn Port, and then about 30 minutes on foot to the old town.
The old town in winter is beautiful in its own way, with low temperatures and a lot of snow. The original colorful scenery is hidden, replaced by a huge wind.
But it's also beautiful, the old town under the snow makes time seem slower and longer~

Ever been to Tallinn? Ever heard of it?Tallinn the capital city of Estonia is one of those places that’s not very well advertised but is a real gem. Like a lot of European cities, Tallinn has an old town, and an impressive one at that.
I visited this grand Baltic city my Eastern Europe trip and checked out the sights of its Medieval Old Town. Tallinn’s charming Old Town is the best preserved Medieval old town in Northern Europe. In 1997, the Old Town was inducted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tallinn’s old town won’t take too long to explore on foot.
The best part of exploring the old town on foot is finding your way around the small alleyways and finding where they lead to.
Tallinn indeed is really a hidden gem you should come visit it some time soon

Staycation in Tallinn Old Town, Estonia
Tallinn is the capital of Estonia, and is the country's cultural hub. One of the highlights during my trip to Tallinn is my stay in the Old Town itself.
We rented an apartment which is hands down the most unique place I've ever seen for a staycay. It is located in the 16th century Old Town building and its walls and ceiling were vaulted with limestone. The lights were warm and cosy. It felt like I was living in a cave the whole time. Super sound proof too even though the apartment was just right beside the road and directly opposite a church (St. Olaf's church).
I looked forward to going home every night! Most unique staycay ever. It felt like I got transported back in time day and night in Estonia with such an old school and stylish apartment!

Want to see what is the square dance in Estonia? From the ancient city, I saw the grand ceremony in front of me. The local people dressed in national costumes danced ballroom dancing, and circled hand in hand. From children to old people, they all jumped happily~ this last century Only after the country that has been completely independent, has begun a new life with optimism and gradually became the richest country in the country. Someone told me that Tallinn is small and there are not many Estonians, but the rapid development lies in strategy and enthusiasm, not in the number of people.

The center of Tallinn New Town is Vilu Square, a street leading from the square to the old town. There is one of the largest hotels in Tallinn, the Vilu Hotel. The square is surrounded by a modern, radial road leading to other cities in Estonia. There are many parks built in the new town. At the confluence of the waterfront boulevard, there is Kadriorg Park (also known as Yekaterinburg Park), which was established by the Russian army of Peter the Great. There is a statue of bronze angels up to 16 meters in the park.
It is worth mentioning that the price here is half cheaper than Helsinki, so you can eat the same thing. The wine here is cheaper. I found that many people came to buy wine and went back. It was really refreshed. Eyes.
This year, going to Russia to watch the World Cup is of course also taking care of tourism, and the most successful "Baltic Three Kingdoms" turned around.
The Estonian capital, which is quite interesting, has many tall, pointed buildings in the old town of Tallinn. It is like walking through the streets and towers in the jungle. Think about this "Tallinn", both transliterated and freely translated. Called "Tallinn" is very clever and apt! I really admire the original translator's thoughts.
In history, Tallinn was once the transportation hub of Central and Eastern Europe and Northern and Southern Europe. It was known as the crossroads of Europe. The ancient city preserved the medieval style and was listed as a World Cultural Heritage in 1997.
Standing in all parts of Tallinn, you can see the St. Olaf Church with a spire of 123 meters. It is said that although the spire was hit by lightning at least 8 times, the church was burned three times. The church spire we see today is still one of the highest in Europe.
Standing on the viewing platform overlooking the beautiful Old Town of Tallinn, especially overlooking the minaret standing in the beautiful sunset, once again, "the city is as famous".
Finally, the Old Town of Tallinn is the best preserved European medieval castle to this day. There are many medieval churches in the city. It is the only city in Northern Europe that maintains the medieval architecture and appearance. Viru Gates is one of the main entrances to the Old Town and consists of two circular towers that echo each other.
Tallinn's Old Town is very beautiful, starting from the moment the Teutonic Knights found the castle, and then developed into the main center of the Hans League. Tallinn is surrounded by water on three sides and has a beautiful scenery. It is the only city in Northern Europe that maintains the appearance and style of the Middle Ages.
Tallinn Old Town is a rare medieval city. The slate is the symbol of this place. The colorful Victorian houses are lined up once and are really nice.
The medieval castle - Tallinn
to Tallinn, was a very temporary decision. Tallinn is only a two-hour boat ride from Helsinki. Tallinn is the capital of Estonia. This Eastern European city is so close to Helsinki. We have not yet set foot on the land of Eastern Europe and decided to explore it.
Tickets from Helsinki to Tallinn can go, you can buy tickets on the spot, you can also book in advance on the official website, or you can find Taobao purchasing. In short, it is very simple. When we arrived at the dock, we were shocked. I thought it was a ferry that saw a cruise ship, and it was super luxurious, just like the songs you have ever done.
Refer to the reply
There are a lot of food on the boat, and there is a duty-free shop. If you have been to a cruise ship in Southeast Asia, it is not much worse. Its a little bit small, the price on the boat is Esseniya, so its very cheap. Many Nordic people will take a boat to Tallinn, and the duty-free shops on the return cruise will be able to buy a lot of beer, which is said to be one-third lower.
Cruises are sailing in the sea full of ice, is it like an icebreaker? Haha, its quite spectacular.
Tallinn's old town is not big, it is very suitable for a leisurely walk. After a round trip, you will find that the street names here are mostly related to the industry, such as: Jinjie Street, Shoe Street, Medicine Street... and two most famous ones. Street, the name is out of people's expectations, one is called "long legs street" and the other is called "short leg street". The Long Leg Street is actually the Chamber of Commerce Street. Every building is imposing. Many people like to climb one foot to the Toompea Hill and then walk back to the city from the other leg. The name of the long and short legs is easy to reminiscent of the feeling of walking high and low, mistakenly thinking that the road is uneven, very bumpy. Actually, the street gravel road here has been quite smooth for centuries. On both sides of the street are a variety of boutiques, cafes, hand workshops, antique shops and galleries. Let's slow down, walk slowly, and watch slowly. You will discover the beauty of Tallinn from the details of these old streets, whether it is handicrafts, full of charms, or heavy vintage doors, and the lanterns hanging under the eaves. Features, no difference. This is the place where Tallinn's most careless and fascinating, small luxury and simple, so good in these two streets.

Helsinki is the capital and largest city of Finland and the largest port in Finland. It is also the center of economic, political, cultural, tourism and transportation in Finland. The world famous international metropolis. The city has been rated as one of the most liveable cities in the world for many years.
Helsinki is adjacent to the Baltic Sea. It is a city where classical beauty and modern civilization are integrated. It is also a garden city with a combination of urban architecture and natural scenery. The city's buildings are mostly made of light-colored granite. It is known as the Northern White City and can be used to take a boat to Estonia. It is a good choice.

ancient called "Keliwan", later called "Rile Weili". The capital of Estonia, the largest city and the economic and cultural center. The industry is mainly engaged in machinery manufacturing, fertilizer and textiles, as well as food industry such as paper making, building materials and fish processing. There are many Estonian Academy of Sciences and universities. There are castles, churches and other monuments built in the thirteenth to fourteenth centuries. The coastline stretches for 45 kilometers. The climate is obviously affected by the ocean, the spring is cool and rainless, the summer and autumn are warm and humid, the winter is cold and snowy, and the beautiful building is nothing to say.

Tallinn Historical Center (English name Historic Centre (Old Town) of Tallinn) is proud to show people the colorful public buildings, especially those churches And the interior structure of those stores. Tallinns cathedral retains its Gothic style despite constant renovations. Although these buildings have been looted by fire and war, they have maintained their superior style. Tallinn retains the most striking feature of its political and economic history, and it is a remarkable and well-established model of the medieval medieval commercial city.
The middle of the place has a big square, where you can see other people staying and resting. It is also a place worth taking a commemorative photo. The large square with great taste, a cup of coffee. Prices are not expensive enough to sit on a full day.

Tallinn is an important commercial port, fishing port and industrial center of Estonia. Port throughput ranks second among the Baltic ports, second only to Ventspils in Latvia ( The largest non-freezing port on the Baltic coast). In an effort to re-export Russian oil from Tallinn, the Estonian government formulated a strategic plan for 2005 to consolidate Tallinns status as a Russian transit corridor.
In order to capture the most beautiful scenery, I climbed to the highest point to find a different Tallinn story. The highest point of this wind is very large, does not affect the shooting, the sun just sprinkled on the building, just right.
If you want to find the medieval time stamp in Northern Europe, you must go to Tallinn Old Town in Estonia. Tallinn is located on the Baltic coast of northern Estonia, with a stretch of 45 km of coastline, across the sea from Helsinki, the capital of Finland.
Tallinn was first built in the middle of the 13th century. It has been standing on the Baltic Sea for more than 800 years. The well-preserved medieval town of the old town will not get tired after going a few times. If you want to "exclusively" here, it is recommended to come in the morning or evening to avoid the cruise group that is in the daytime.
Tallinn has more than 800 years of history. It is the oldest city in northern Europe. It is surrounded by water on three sides and beautiful scenery. The 2 km long limestone ancient city wall surrounds the old city. Most of the more than 20 defensive towers on the wall are Has been through more than 500 years of baptism.
Tallinn Old Town is not very big, but it is particularly charming. The main attractions are distributed in 2 areas. One is near the Town Hall Square, also known as the Lower Town. There are Tallinn's tallest St. Olav Cathedral, three sister houses and old pharmacies. Another area is the Castle Hill Castle area, also known as the Upper Town, with the Nicholas Church, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Tallinn. In addition to these buildings, there is a 2 km long ancient city wall in the old town of Tallinn, which is well preserved.
You can walk along the walls of the old city, feel the taste of this ancient city, or climb to the high point of the city, overlooking the whole picture of the old city.
can also enter the medieval taverns in the city, let the girls wearing the "rights" costumes prepare food, it really seems to be in the strange world created by the film and television drama.
Estonia faces the Baltic Sea to the west and the Gulf of Finland to the north. It is also known as the Baltic States with Latvia and Lithuania. Due to the preservation of most medieval buildings, the capital Tallinn was awarded the World Heritage of Culture and Nature in 1997. In the ancient Baltic language, Tallinn was the occupant of the water's edge. The enchanting water is pure, like water. After the layers of water and the sky reflect, the time becomes silent here, almost forgetting its existence. As an important trading city of the year, Tallinn was ruled by the German aristocracy for a long time and gradually became a city with a strong aristocratic atmosphere.
Today you can still see the Church of the Holy Spirit, the Great Coast Gate, St. Olivet's Church, Toompea Castle, and a long wall of shackles holding them firmly in their arms. On the wall of 2.4 kilometers, there are 18 round bunkers, which add to the mysterious atmosphere. Lakaya Square in the city centre is a symbol of Tallinn and the only Gothic town square in Northern Europe. Seven centuries have passed, and it has been the center of life in Tallinn. At Christmas and New Year, it has become a lively and great market. The Tallinn Visitor Centre in the square offers a wealth of travel information and even a free Chinese guide. If you are lost in the old city, don't panic, take the "Municipal Plaza" as the coordinates and walk out of the maze of history. This time is back in time, sometimes in a modern and interesting life, how can you not let you be willing to be intoxicated here?
One of the three Baltic countries, Essalia, is located across the sea from Helsinki. I have heard of the former Soviet Unions republics. I have heard it from Helsinki in two hours and arrived in their capital, Tallinn. An authentic medieval city with cobbled alleyways, antique metal street lamps, Gothic church spires and medieval squares, this is the only city in Northern Europe that maintains a medieval look and style. Just arrived in the Christmas evening, in just two hours, I was unable to walk in the ancient city square, and all kinds of special products were fascinating.
