London
Winter has its own meaning|From the dawn of London to dusk
The clear weather is always accompanied by cold, the sub-zero temperature freezes the fountain in Trafalgar Square, and I, who usually only walk in the city, have to hide in the subway station to keep warm. The most beautiful moment in London begins at three o'clock in the afternoon of winter time, walking from Westminster Abbey to St. Paul's is my favorite route, slowly watching the night envelop the entire city, the flickering street lights along the way and the pedestrians wrapped in coats are the image of winter London in my memory
London Special Forces Free One-Day Tour Guide
||🌟The train🚞 from Manchester to London is only about 35 pounds, and it takes 2h to arrive! I only stayed for a day and a half🥹 so it was a check-in style play, come and share some must-visit attractions tour routes~
·
1️⃣Westminster Abbey⛪
Take the subway🚇 to embankment station, you can pass the London Eye🎡, Big Ben🕰, to Westminster Abbey!! You don't need a ticket to take pictures outside📸, I heard that you can visit for free🆓 if you follow the people who worship, but it sounds a bit difficult🤫! Standing on the opposite side🈶 colored Corgi sculpture lawn edge (p13) looking up can take a picture of 🈚 people's church panorama (p12)‼️
·
2️⃣London Eye🎡
It's beautiful enough to look over from Westminster Bridge👀! There is no need to go up and sit for a while, it feels like a plain Ferris wheel. The dock below🈶 cruise ship can watch at close range (p7), but it is also very out of the picture on the shore~
·
3️⃣Big Ben🕰
The opposite lawn is very suitable for taking pictures with it (p9)! Stand on the edge and take a picture while the people across the street haven't crossed the road🚶🏻♀️, the background will be less people❗️
·
4️⃣Tower Bridge🌉
Take the subway🚇 to London Bridge station, you can see many interesting sculptures🗿 along the river and get closer and closer to the tower bridge, the closer the photo📸 is, the better!! There are fewer people🙋🏻♀️ on the bridge from the side elevator!
·
5️⃣King's Cross Station 9¾ Platform🧙🏻♀️
Harry Potter fans will not miss the magic platform🚉, located at Platform 9 of Kings Cross Station! No need to enter the station, follow the platform sign to see people queuing for photos! The staff will give you a college scarf🧣, let you choose a magic wand🪄 and a wall-through luggage cart🧳 to take a photo!! The finished picture is charged, but you can let your friends👭 take pictures for free with your mobile phone on the side👀

Kings and Queens were crowned here!
#londontrip
Absolutely stunning architecture with so much history which dates back centuries. This very exact place is where royals got married and buried (not all though). Some aren't even British Royalties. Kings and Queens were also crowned here.A very cool place to see with your own eyes. It is quite easy to spot because it is located not far from big ben and Westminster Palace
We didn't go in because we didn't have much time in our hands but we looked around and took some photos of this famous building in the entire UK.
So, if you have one week in London, make sure to go in and learn more of its history which we wished we could have done.
I just need to mention that you need to pay to go inside unless if you're attending in one of their church services.
Enjoy.

Westminster Abbey
The Westminster Abbey is the royal church in London, does this look familiar to you? The royals will hold their wedding/ funeral here. You can buy ticket to go in to visit but we did not, we just came to visit :)
This probably is one of the oldest and huge church in the city of Westminster.
Westminister Abbey
Commonly known as the place where most important Royal weddings, and burials, and coronation, Westminister Abbey is an Anglican Cathedral built in by King Henry III. 16 Royal weddings happened here since 1100, the last of which is that of Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The Abbey is designed mainly in the style of Gothic architecture. Among the prominent features of the Abbey are Flying buttresses, ribbed vaulted ceilings, pointed arches, and rose windows-- all characteristic of the Gothic style.
Visit to the Abbey requires tickets. This means that you will need to buy a ticket to take a tour of the building which will take you to an informative guided tour around the Abbey.
However, you can enter for free if you wish to pray or attend a service as it is primarily a church.

Westminster Abbey and its beauty

Westminster Abbey, formally titled the Collegiate Church of Saint Peter at Westminster, is a large, mainly Gothic abbey church in the City of Westminster, London, England, just to the west of the Palace of Westminster.
It is one of the United Kingdom's most notable religious buildings and a burial site for English and, later, British monarchs. Since the coronation of William the Conqueror in 1066, all coronations of English and British monarchs have occurred in Westminster Abbey.
This is the place where another coronation will take place in May 2023 for King Charles III

Westminster Abbey, formally titled the Collegiate Church of Saint Peter at Westminster, is a large, mainly Gothic abbey church in the City of Westminster, London, England, just to the west of the Palace of Westminster This is an amazing church. You could spend all day in it if you wanted.
The amount of history here was well beyond what I had originally imagined. Not only are there a lot of ties to British religious history, but British history in general. There are also ties to significant scientific, art, and literary icons throughout the last several hundred years. The free audio guide with your tour was also very helpful in giving a more in-depth look at some of the statues, memorials, and other sites to see during your visit. Overall I highly recommend this tour!
Westminster Abbey, London

This is the state furneal of the late Queen Elizabeth II. She was the beloved Queen and its people admired that the longest-serving monarch in the UK. Westminster Abbey was the place of her coronation and wedding ceremony. 🌈
This Abbey is the royal church in England over the centuries. From this magnificent architecture, you could enjoy the extraordinary peaceful atmosphere with stained glass and rose window. The tombs of Mary Queen of Scots, Queen Mary I, Queen Elizabeth I were also in this abbey. Next time when you visit this abbey, don't forget to walk along the London famous attractions 🎈
London Westminster
The London Westminster is the area between River Thames to Oxford Street. It’s an area where many important landmarks are located and the government of UK is sitting.
The most known landmark is of course Big Ben, the clock tower of the parliament building (the Palace of Westminster). But in addition to that, also the Buckingham Palace, the Westminster Abbey and also the home of the Prime Minister in addition to many other important buildings are located there.
As a travel tip I could recommend you to take a river boat from somewhere else and ride the boat to the Westminster Pier. Of course you can take the underground too if you are located somewhere along the London Underground area.
After seeing the important buildings you could have a picnic for example in St. James’s Park. There you could even have a chance to meet the Prime Minister. You may even find him from one of the pics of this post.

I need travel like I need the air to breathe
Westminster Cathedral, The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Precious Blood is the cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Westminster, London, the largest Catholic church in the UK, located in Westminster Victoria Street in the city.
This cathedral was built in 1895 and opened in 1903, and was consecrated on June 28, 1910. New Byzantine style, the clock tower is 83 meters high. For economic reasons, the interior decoration has yet to be completed. It is often considered the first Catholic church after the British Reformation, and it should be St. Patrick's Church in Soho Square.
In 1977, Queen Elizabeth II visited the Cathedral. She was the first reign of the Catholic Church after the British Reformation, but there was no ceremony. In 1995, Queen Elizabeth II visited the Cathedral again and became the first British monarch to visit Catholic ceremonies in centuries.

Westminster Abbey
#europetrip A truly historical site nestled within the city's core. I had the privilege of visiting this awe-inspiring church during a leisurely morning walk. The architectural detail exuded a profound sense of culture and tradition. What struck me were the intricacies of design and craftsmanship that have stood the test of time. The calm ambiance is a stark contrast to the bustling city surrounding it. An early visit is recommended for a serene experience.

From Lincoln Cathedral & Tower Bridge & Buckingham Palace
Lincoln is one of the most perfect cities in the eastern part of England, known as the 'medieval city of magic', and is a city with a rich historical and cultural heritage. It has a long history and culture, and when you come to Lincoln, you must not miss visiting the monuments. Lincoln Cathedral is an attraction not to be missed. Belonging to the Church of England, Lincoln Cathedral is a prime example of British Gothic architecture. It was once the tallest building in the world and is one of the oldest and largest churches in the UK. Its exterior is solemn and simple, and the dome inside is splendid. It was once the main cathedral of the whole of England, and many local tourists also come to visit. It is very much worth seeing.
Through the city center, there are many big brand chain stores and small independent shops, with reasonable prices and a wide variety of goods. In the middle of the road, a lazy dog lying on a chair seems to also tell tourists, please slow down your pace and enjoy slowly. The swans by the lake are also leisurely basking in the sun.
From Lincoln to London, because time was tight, I directly booked a car to go, which cost over 300 pounds, converted into RMB, it really hits you in the wallet.
Visiting Westminster Abbey in London, crossing Tower Bridge, viewing the Thames River, seeing Big Ben, and finally arriving at Buckingham Palace, I have to complain about London's subway. A British friend took me to three subway stations, and either they were under maintenance or out of service, for reasons unclear. I originally wanted to save some legwork, but searching for the subway stations already tired me to death! Sigh, and I was reluctant to take a taxi! Really torn! I highly recommend this route to friends, it's nice to walk when the weather is good! If the weather is bad and you can afford it, still take a taxi!
All the way there, from Lincoln to London, I saw quite a few domestic cars on the road, and I sincerely hope that my country becomes stronger and stronger, and that the products keep getting better!
Westminster Abbey 'The Quintessence of England'
'Westminster Abbey' is the world's largest Gothic structure, the site of wedding celebrations for members of the British royal family throughout history, as well as the royal mausoleum of the United Kingdom. It is also the burial place of many great politicians, scientists, military leaders, and literary figures, with the most famous being the physicist 'Newton'. In honor of his outstanding contributions, his tomb is placed in the center of the main hall of the church, indicating his extraordinary status.
On May 6, 2023, King Charles III held his coronation ceremony at 'Westminster Abbey'. Since its construction in the 13th century, it has a history of over 800 years. Westminster Abbey, filled with historical significance, has witnessed the rise and fall of the British Empire and still holds a position of supreme prestige to this day.
