I arrived at 2 PM and requested a non-smoking room, but despite having specified this in my app booking, I was told to wait 30 minutes. After 40 minutes, the room still wasn't ready, and my patience was wearing thin. I was then reluctantly moved to a different room. Once inside, I discovered it was a connected room and completely lacked soundproofing, allowing me to hear my neighbors clearly from both sides. I considered complaining, but I was too exhausted. On a positive note, the view and the location, particularly with its proximity to CPI, were excellent.

Clean but the bathroom have no soap and they separate toilet bowl and shower with two room. The toilet is good but the bathroom is flooding outside when you shower. Room is good got bottle water and coffee+tea sachet. View is just ok. the location is perfect near from everything you need such as souvenir, local and international restaurant, convenient store and more

A good budget hotel so far in Makassar. Stay here during Ramadhan around 7 days. So many takjil and good resto around. Near to the Mall, can get there by walking. Will be back soon for sure, thanks Khas!🍉

I think this is the best value-for-money hotel in the area. The breakfast is rich, and it has a gym and a pool. There are also restaurants and a KFC right outside. It's relatively clean and hygienic. The only thing is that the price seems a bit unstable, fluctuating up and down. Overall, it's really good.

Pros- view was good, room was clean and bathroom was also clean. Easy to use and get around with parking and the pool and gym was great. Cons- asked for non smoking room as had a child but not provided and due to this yellowish walls and tabacco smell not suitable for a baby.

The hotel is comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the food is delicious. I really loved the atmosphere of the hotel.

Overall, it's good, especially since the room connects directly to the swimming pool. However, here are the downsides of the room (FYI, I booked the highest room type - non-apartment): - There's no refrigerator, so my baby's food couldn't last long, even though I expected one to be available. - The 'make up room' service wasn't performed, even though the room was set to 'make up room' status and I even informed the cleaning staff working next door. - I had to report to the reception desk every day for free parking, even though I booked the room for two nights consecutively. I hope the issues mentioned above can be improved.

Novotel is a great pick for a stay in Makassar. Good location get around town. Rooms are nice, clean, and functional. Gym is small, and probably needs a few upgrades. There is a pool, but not used. Restaurant is so-so, to be fair. Outside eating options are probably better. Very friendly and efficient staff - they quickly addressed a minor issue and followed up with excellent attention. Still, overall, a very good place to choose, and good value for money,

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any requests. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The breakfast offered a good variety of delicious options, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The hotel atmosphere is quiet, and all the staff are friendly and very helpful. The parking was a bit difficult; the parking garage is a little narrow, but there's always staff ready to guide you. The bedsheets were a bit dirty, with some stains. Oh, and perhaps the breakfast cost information on Trip.com needs to be updated. The app showed IDR 120,000, but when I ordered extra breakfast, the cost was already IDR 165,000. The breakfast menu was varied, and the roasted milk tea was delicious. It's a shame I only got half a glass, and I had to wait quite a while for a refill when I wanted more. Overall, it's good.
