Greatly and centrally located near lots of places to eat, have a drink and visit. Parking outside wasn’t too complicated, just find a spot and pay. When we got there we only found one employee who couldn’t speak English and was a bit difficult to check in but regardless he was very nice, helpful and serviceable. He also helped us with figuring out how the parking worked. Room and bathroom were nice and spacious though the mini fridge didn’t really seemed to work. Other than that I pile stay again if I were in the area.

It's a bit of a drive from Florence, so having a car is definitely recommended for easier access. The breakfast was exquisite, and while the rooms had a charming, vintage feel, the overall experience truly exceeded my expectations. Tuscany is stunning and absolutely worth a second visit!

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' drive from the mall. The hotel looks very quiet and full of flowers. It's on a slope that turns up from the main road, a bit away from the street. There's also parking. Breakfast is included. The three of us stayed in room 1, which has four rooms. It's two stories high. But I discovered a problem at night. When there were a lot of large cars passing by, the noise in my room (with the windows closed) was extremely loud. A large car passed by every three minutes, and I couldn't sleep all night. It's quiet late at night, but the noise from the cars was very loud. They also have two other floors (for a total of three), and I'm not sure if the other two are noisy. If not, this place is quite nice.

Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

Located in the west of Florence, if you don't have a chartered car, you need to take a train from Florence to Empoli Station, and then take a taxi for 25 minutes to the hotel (about 50 euros). The hotel is in the fields, and it takes a while to drive from the town. There are many hotels and folk customs on each small hill nearby. The hotel is very large. In addition to the accommodation area, it is surrounded by grape fields, farms, and areas for hotel project activities. The environment is very beautiful, close to nature, and implements the original ecological concept. Some of the restaurant ingredients come from their own farms. There are cypress trees of different heights on the surrounding country roads. It seems that a batch of small trees were planted along the road for tourists to take pictures, so that they can become a row of neat cypress trees. The hotel's architectural style is an Italian farm. The exterior looks simple, the interior is relatively gorgeous, and the Renaissance decoration is beautiful and atmospheric. It was foggy in the early morning, and the fog dissipated before noon. There was plenty of light in the afternoon, and the sunset in the evening was very beautiful on the fields. The sunrise and the forest opened, and the scenery was different in four seasons. Stayed for 2 nights, during which I experienced truffle picking (155 euros/person) and wine tasting (50 euros/person). It was interesting to experience it. But unlike expected, there was not much participation in truffle picking. We came to a forest and followed the footsteps of truffle hunters and hounds to search in the forest. There were explanations during the period, but we did not experience the process of digging truffles in person. Wine tasting visited the wine cellar and then tasted it outdoors. During the stay, you can walk around the hotel to pass the time and you will not feel bored. The greenery is relaxing. In fact, some scenes can also be seen in most rural areas, but the hotel's supporting facilities cannot keep up. We need to return to the hotel to get a holiday-like rest after walking tired. The hotel has two restaurants, including breakfast. One restaurant is a local restaurant, and the other restaurant is a Michelin green star. The taste is pretty good. You can only choose between them during the stay because there are no other restaurants nearby. It is worth mentioning that the pool selection suite where I stayed on the second night is close to the swimming pool. You can go swimming as soon as you open the door, but many bugs were found in the room. The hotel service was uneven. One of the interns did not speak English well, and it took us a long time to communicate about changing rooms. The other intern was fluent in English and had a good service attitude. On the return trip, I chose to have the hotel make an appointment to send me to Empoli Station (68 euros).

The sunset in the hotel is very shocking. The place is a bit hard to find. On a small mountain road, drive next to the gas station, go up the mountain, and then you will see the beautiful sunset. Parking is very convenient, dinner is good, not expensive, almost like Venice, two people eat about sixty euros The hotel is very clean, there are slippers inside, European hotels are very rare, the waiter also helps with luggage The breakfast is particularly good, with a variety of local Tuscan fruits and lots of coffee.

Super nice little hotel with the green, very friendly staff, rooms very nicely decorated. Breakfast was also sensational, in the summer there is also a swimming pool, which wasn't relevant for me as I was there in March.

We had a very solid stay at Hotel Grifone. A pretty large, comfortable, and clean room, with a balcony even. It was a bit of a hassle to get to our room (2 different elevators/staircases separated by a hallway), but on our first trip to the room, a staff member showed us the way, which was a nice touch. We also really appreciated the free flavored waters and teas/snacks/mimosas provided in the lobby - was a lovely surprise. The hotel is in a very residential area, so it's pretty quiet at night. Does take around 25 minutes by bus to get there from the old town area, but they came relatively regularly (the signs posted on the stops were hit-or-miss on accuracy - the buses usually ran late). Signora Helena on the breakfast team was truly the sweetest person we met during our entire 2 week trip around the country of Italy. She always greeted us with a smile and provided excellent service (remembering that we have yogurt every morning and bringing it to us without us asking by the third day of our stay, checked in about what coffee we wanted, and more!). We really loved her, and it made our mornings brighter to see her! The front desk staff were all excellent as well! Super professional and answered questions about Florence and the hotel with ease.

GGuest UserExcellent location, excellent treatment and service by all the staff, especially by the receptionist who is there in the mornings and who knows how to speak Spanish. Their kindness and attention: exceptional, the fact that it has a swimming pool, even if it is small, to take a dip especially in summer, with the heat that it is, is an important point to take into account, and although I have read that they do not warn that it does not have an elevator and that in many cases, like us, they send you to the second floor with many steps, it is true, but they also take your suitcases up and down. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Florence.

AAThe hotel is located in a very small town. The hotel itself is good. I got a new room, there was no noise. Very clean, cleaned every day. Of the shortcomings I can note: no shampoo, a poorly working refrigerator and no glasses in the room. I asked for glasses at the reception, they sent me to the bar, where they gave me plastic glasses.... I took glass ones myself, since I do not drink from plastic. The hotel and Tirrenia itself are an ideal place to distance yourself from the world. Life in the city freezes at 8-9 o'clock. There is nowhere to go. A good supermarket and several restaurants are a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The food in none of them was particularly impressive. The sea is gorgeous. Very clean. The beach is also kept clean. Pisa is a half-hour bus ride from the hotel. There is nothing to do there, except for visiting the tower, but it is not long - 30 minutes maximum. Thank you for the rest.

HHONGSHENGI rarely write reviews, but I simply *had* to this time! After checking out, I discovered my car wouldn't start – I'd foolishly left something on and completely drained the battery. Within just 5 minutes, the amazing ladies at the front desk found the incredibly resourceful Alessio for me. He first brought a battery charger, but when he realized it couldn't reach, he immediately drove another car over to use its battery to jump-start mine. The entire process was completed within 10 minutes, and it was absolutely free! So, a huge shout-out to [Hotel Name] for such outstanding service, big thanks to the front desk team (both the ladies and gentlemen), and a special, massive thank you to Alessio!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers. The price was very reasonable, offering great value for the quality provided. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, which was a pleasant surprise given the affordable rate. It felt fresh and well-maintained, making my stay comfortable. The hotel includes breakfast in the room rate, which is a nice touch, but the selection was disappointing. The food lacked variety and quality, with limited options that didn’t cater to diverse tastes. It was sufficient to start the day, but don’t expect a standout dining experience. The hotel features a pool, which is a great amenity, but it’s quite small and can feel crowded if multiple guests are using it. It’s fine for a quick dip, but not ideal for serious swimming or lounging. Location-wise, the hotel is a bit far from the city center, which might inconvenience some travelers. Public transportation options, particularly buses, are limited in the evening, so plan accordingly if you intend to explore the city late. A taxi or rideshare might be necessary for evening outings. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, but the connection is slow and unreliable at times, which could be frustrating if you need to work or stream content. For casual browsing, it’s manageable, but don’t expect high-speed performance. The service was satisfactory—staff were polite and responsive, though not overly warm or proactive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and basic requests were handled efficiently. Overall, this hotel is a good pick for those prioritizing affordability and clean, spacious rooms. However, if you value proximity to the city, robust Wi-Fi, or a stellar breakfast, you might want to consider other options.

GGuest UserThe best hotel in Florence I have ever stayed very well located and just 5 min walking from train station. Tiny swimming pool but very precious in the city center like this so I still tried the pool even it’s very cold in middle of sep, the front desk ( cute boy) really friendly to book the restaurant for my customers with patience and the lady in the breakfast room are super nice to me! Lunch in Asia fusion in Italian is also unexpected good!

BBri BrackenWe really enjoyed our stay at The Social Hub Lavagnini. It’s clean, modern, and well-designed with a young, international vibe. We’re in our early 30s and felt like we fit right in. It’s ideal for younger travelers or anyone who prefers something more relaxed and social than a traditional hotel. An older couple might feel a little out of place, but that depends on what kind of atmosphere you’re after. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Anytime we needed something, they handled it quickly and with a great attitude. The common areas downstairs are a real highlight. There’s lots of space to work, hang out, or meet other travelers. It really does have a community feel, just like the reviews say. There’s also a rooftop with a pool and bar. It’s nice to have, but to be honest, we didn’t find the bar particularly exciting. More of a perk than a destination. It’s about a 25-minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio and the historic center, so you’ll be doing a bit of walking each day. Still, we thought the location was a good balance- close enough to everything, but far enough to be out of the thick of the crowds. For the price and the comfort of the hotel, it felt totally worth it. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for a clean, stylish, and social place to stay in Florence.
