AAnonymous UserSound proofing of the rooms are real bad. If you are to leave the windows open for ventilation as there is no air condition unit, you will not be able to have a restful night as those rooms facing the street can hear the noise of the people talking and laughing, vehicles noise, garbage truck till very late into the night and early in the morning. Even if you are to close the windows and bear with the poor ventilated room, you can still hear the noises from the street.
Otherwise a decent hotel in a good location. Service is lukewarm and just average.

RReyaBuilt in 1864, this old hotel has a rich historical feel, having hosted numerous Scandinavian royalty and British kings in the early 20th century. Its location is unbeatable, a prime spot overlooking the lake. Sitting in the second-floor café, enjoying the stunning lake and mountain views is a pure pleasure. The breakfast is plentiful, and the hotel boasts an indoor swimming pool and sauna – don't miss them! It's also close to the cable car station, shopping street, and forest hiking trails. In short, a beautiful hotel, well worth a night's stay.

AAnonymous UserFantastic hotel, felt completely spoilt whilst staying there. The breakfast buffet on another level and the room was modern, calming and relaxing. The hotel spa was also a welcomed break, before exploring more of the beautiful Bergen. Thank you!
