Everything was more than great !
From the fabulous welcome by Anais , to all other staff members) they really made their best.
The suite was spacious and luxurious, the owner of the property clearly has good taste transforming this old property into a luxury boutique hotel )
The spa treatments were very good,
The Italian restaurant simple but on point)
I would give it a 9/10 , the check - in could have gone smoother , room service could be more attentive to client demands (when asking to remove an ingredient by example) I will definitely come back and try the best category of the hotel (master suite)

Excellent service, the head receptionist was extremely friendly and ready to solve the problem we had because we had reserved a double bed and were assigned a room with twin beds. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and I wrote in the reservation that if possible they could decorate the room, but we didn't find anything prepared, I was a little disappointed. However, I must highlight the excellent cleanliness, everything was perfectly clean and tidy! (I found it a bit intriguing that the bathrooms didn't have toilets.)
The bar service on the rooftop was excellent. Congratulations, one of the best mojitos I've ever had!!!
Great breakfast with lots of variety and great quantity. I think only the breakfast layout could be better because almost twice I was going to spill the orange juice due to there being little space for people to move around in the hallway.
Short break getaway!
Great location, Lovely room comfortable bed had a great night sleep . , I fully enjoyed the health spa. Swim sauna and steam room. Check out the Santana restaurant
Buffet lunch all home made food , delicious !
Overall it was a lovely stay, a peaceful retreat just what I needed from the hustle and bustle ( Lobdon ) from the city life .
Beautiful view and perfect location!!!!!! Great security and very kind crews. I want to visit this hotel again. Thank you for everything.
But even though I booked rooms 2 months ago, Same day reservations were much cheaper. I was not feeling well.
What a unique concept of a hotel. I really enjoyed my first experience in a Zero Hotel. The rooms are small, but it’s meant for you to get out of your box and explore the area! Towels were soft, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast is well worth it. My only suggestion would be to address some of the rusting metal in the bathroom — I know the look is rustic, but the parts rusting were not part of the “look.” The location is great—you’re very close to all the touristy things but a little removed from the main streets. Friendly check-in staff.
The best welcoming I had in the last years .
Great room and views with a lovely swimming pool .
The breakfast is good but I would recommend to improve the juices machine .
I will definitely return to this great hotel .
The location is convenient for exploring Porto's attractions. During the day, the bus cannot stop at the hotel entrance due to the pedestrian street, so it takes two minutes to walk.

Very Good
GGuest UserThis was not the first time I've been at this hotel. It's a nice place to spend a few nights. The breakfast food is good in terms of variety and the staff is nice and helpful. The spa is always a pleasant place for you to relax. However, the buttons of the jets don't work properly, specially the ones that are only accessible when you are in the pool, which can be frustrating if you like to use them and won't be able to. This time, the sauna was out of work, as well, but they were fixing it. They didn't really seem worried about fixing the jets' buttons, though... When I was at the hotel last year, they weren't already working properly, but now I couldn't even get them to work. The ones that would work, wouldn't be active for a long time after you pressed on them. In other Spas, they usually work for a few minutes when you turn them on. In this one, they would only be active for about 20/30 seconds at a time. The room I stayed in, had a different display. You would go through a corridor with the bathroom at the front and on the left you had the sleeping area. I liked it because it would conceal the noises coming from the outside a bit better. All rooms have a balcony, but something that feels that is always missing are a couple of chairs and a table. The balcony becomes useless without them! I couldn't open the bathroom door well (not even in 90 degrees in relation to the entrance) because it would bump on the bidet. Also, the shower and glass covering the bathtub seemed to be at the wrong wall because it was inevitable to wet the entire toilet when you showered. The corners were a bit dusty and the bathroom bin hasn't been changed from the previous guest. I think the cleanliness can be improved.
ZZaherWe had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay.
One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel.
The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal.
Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserA decent hotel but was disappointed that on arrival I paid an additional 30 Euros for a room with a balcony, its a pity I was informed that they expected it to rain for the whole duration of my stay, I unfortunately couldnt use the balcony at any point due to it being wet all he time, what a waste of money!!!!!
RRomstarJust far enough from the busy crowded spots to feel peaceful, yet close enough to walk and or catch many different forms of transport.
We booked planning to use the Sauna and Spa after a busy days sight seeing. Unfortunately they had time Limits that didnt allow such comfort, but that just made us do more in gorgeous Porto itself. The garden are well kept, a lovely, and not so small, green space to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
Ana checked us in, she was wonderfully fun and full of so much helpful Information!! She gave us a fantastic, if not a little too ambitious itinerary for our short visit. And not one piece of advice Was wrong! Thankyou!!
The apartments are nice, they have a warm grounding vibe. Everything Was comfortable except our bed, but that is always relative to who's sleeping in it.
Well equipped for short stays, extra kitchen Equipment was available on request. But theres too many delicious options practically on your doorstep. We barely Even had coffee in our room.
I would gladly return and stay at Apartments Oporto Anselmo again. And recommend
HhoneydewsagoI loved my stay! The room was spacious, clean, equipped with Nuxe hair/body wash & hair conditioner, and even a balcony! I was only there for a night but I would have loved to stay longer! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. There were even 2x complimentary fruit drinks & glass bottled mineral water in the mini bar. Fantastic!
HHenriAbsolutely incredible hotel, the staff takes great care, from the privileged location to the spa facilities, everything is wonderful.
I recommend with your eyes closed for lovers of exclusive places.
CCarmenThe location is very good, beautiful environment, nearby restaurants, pleasant scenery. The waiters were friendly and the furnishings in the rooms were exquisite. Breakfast and other restaurants were also excellent. It is a very satisfying hotel.
CCCP9109The hotel itself is a historical building, and every corner is like a work of art! The room is quite large, and I was surprised that they even gave me a small gift bag (eye mask, earplugs, etc.), unlimited free water, but the mini bar needs to be charged, the bedding is very good, and the bathroom is also a local brand, which is very moisturizing.
The breakfast options are relatively few compared to 5-star hotels. We stayed for 3 nights and the variety of breakfast did not change. This needs to be improved (because even some 4-star hotels have better products and varieties than this)
The room cleaning is not timely. The next day, we even had to call them to change the toiletries, and many equipments took a long time to be delivered.
The service is basically very warm and considerate.
The location is really super convenient, and you can walk everywhere.
AAnonymous UserThis was my second stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my first experience. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent, close to everything you need. The room was spacious, which I appreciated.
However, the condition of the room was disappointing this time. The carpet was disgusting — full of stains, and the furniture looked worn out and tired. It was a big contrast from my first stay, when the room was in much better shape. The housekeeping staff were also unfriendly, only speaking if spoken to and often walking by without a word.
Overall, while the stay was pleasant thanks to the great front desk/lobby team and convenient location, the decline in room quality means I wouldn’t return.
