The main building of the Daxiong Palace and the monastery in Fengguo Temple, the layout of the Tang Dynasty, Xia Qiliao, Jin and other monasteries, is the most typical example of Liaojin Temple. Among them, the Daxiong Palace is the highest achievement of the Buddhist architecture in the Liao Dynasty, representing the highest level of Chinese architecture in the 11th century. Architect Liang Sicheng once published an academic report, calling the Liao Dynasty monastery "a thousand-year national treasure, a supreme national treasure, rare treasure. Fengguo Temple is the largest of the Liao Dynasty Buddha Temple." It is said that during the Liao Shen Battle, there were shells that fell into the temple and did not blow up.
