Five Goats Statue Review

Legend has it that more than 2,000 years ago, there were five fairy people meeting with each other, when the sky was full of joy, the clouds were floating, five immortals were wearing colorful robes, riding five goats, each goat mouth containing six bunches of rice ears flying to Guangzhou, and the rice ears were airdropped in the fields. Suddenly, a miracle happened, and the vast fields full of weeds suddenly became a golden rice field. The five fairy people floating in the clouds, Yao wish this land every year, the grains and the famine, and then drive away. Guangzhou is not called Yangcheng, the rice ears in the sheep mouth bring abundance, Guangzhou is referred to as "Yu", this is how it came.

The five sheep stone statue is located in Yuexiu Park, which has a beautiful legend: five immortals wearing five-color clothes, riding five-color sheep, floating from the South China Sea, descending to Guangzhou, five sheep mouths each carrying a stem and six ears of rice. The fairy gave the rice ears to the local residents and blessed that there would never be famine. The sheep turned into stone. Guangzhou also has to be called "Yangcheng" and "Suicheng".
