Huangpodong Reservoir Review

The scenery of the scenic spot is good... There are some strong autumn feelings. It is more comfortable and comfortable to come here on weekends and go shopping. Huangpodong Reservoir is one of the attractions in Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area.

"Huangpodong Reservoir" is located in the Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area of Guangzhou City, 5A level, built in 1956. The reservoir is the second largest artificial reservoir in Baiyun Mountain. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and water on one side. The scenery is beautiful. Next to Huangpo Cave, is the campus of Guangzhou Foreign Languages College. Meihua Valley and the lake have fishing areas, Meihua Valley, and Metasequoia forest. Diagonally opposite the reservoir is the Pearl Tower Shuiyuege Lake. The scenery is good, the fun is average, the price is average

白云山很大，多数人会选择从南门上山，到山顶公园再上摩星岭。而我更喜欢从西门上山，因为这边可以去黄婆洞水库。相传，黄道婆从海南回乡时途经白云山小住，向当地人民传授纺织技术，人们将黄道婆居住的地方称为黄婆洞。后来村民拦溪水筑坝，就成为现在的黄婆洞水库。水库三面环山，周围树木成林，竹林遮天蔽日。11月-3月是水库最美的季节，现在水库周边的枫叶红了，水杉红了，梅花也开了……醉人呀！

这个水库是当年为灌溉农田而修的，现在城市化了，就成了白云山景区的一个明珠，使其成为一个有山有水的完整景点。

黄婆洞水库是白云山最美的湖景。初冬，水杉变成了黄色，与绿色的湖面相映成趣。这里也是观赏落日最佳景点之一，落日把整个湖水都染红了，极为壮观。以前只知爬山，很少过来黄婆洞水库，原来这里才是白云山最美之处。
