Laomendong Historic District Review

I came from Xinjiekou on a shared bicycle, it is really difficult to take a taxi here. Speaking of which, I think it is more lively than the Confucius Temple. Especially at night. I was almost lost when I went shopping. Next to it is the glass tower of Dabaoen Temple. It is very beautiful at night.

Laomen East is located in the east of China Gate in Qinhuai District, Nanjing, because it is located in the south gate of Nanjing Jingcheng (that is, China Gate), so it is called "the east gate", and the west of the old gate, is an important part of the Qinhuai scenery belt of Nanjing Confucius Temple. The Ming Dynasty China Gate and the Inner Qinhuai River along the city became the economic center, and it became an important distribution center for commerce and crafts, presenting a prosperous scene. During the winter vacation, it was very good to take the children to stroll around the old city and experience it.

Yesterday, I went to Nanjing's Laomendong Historical and Cultural District. It is now completely open, but there are no tourists. Many shops in the whole neighborhood have also closed, that is, there is no such deserted situation during the epidemic.

The taste of Nanjing in the south of the old city is quite enough, and it seems that you can always appreciate the taste of the past. Many people came to take pictures, and the flowers climbing on the wall, or the ancient well on the corner, or the newly paved stone road, became the background for people to shoot.
