Shika Snow Mountain Review

I have been to this place 4 years ago as a solo traveller, and would love to go back once travel restrictions are eased.

Shika Snow Mountain is located 7 kilometers southwest of Shangri-La. The snow mountain is connected to the Napahai Nature Reserve in the north, and the Qianhu Mountain Scenic Area, the world natural heritage of "three rivers" in the south. The east is facing Songzanlin Temple and Dukezong Ancient City. The west is the mysterious canyon and the endless Jinsha River. It covers an area of about 65 square kilometers. Due to the highlands, the landform is complex and the natural conditions affect it, traveling to Shangri-La is very important for the choice of season. ​​​

I accidentally found this attraction next to the Naohai Grassland. This year, the drought in Yunnan was great. When I arrived, I knew that the grassland was dry and yellow. I chose Shika Snow Mountain, 140 round trip, and the one-way cable car felt that it was more than 30 minutes worth of value. Very few tourists are tourists chartered cable cars, really not many tourists. It is divided into 2 sections. The Internet recommends that the snow mountain top look at the 8 Shenshan Mountains. It is really super beautiful, and the oxygen content on it is rich. Don't be scared by the altitude. The grassland in the middle is too beautiful, okay? The altitude is high. It is much more beautiful than Napa Sea. The grassland is super large. It feels like 5 hours of complete play. I took a little bit of the grassland in a hurry.

Now the tickets are free, the ropeway is half price, the scenic spot buys 120, and the online buys 110. The scenic spot is divided into two sections. Each section of the ropeway takes about 20 minutes. There is no hiking line and you can only buy ropeway tickets. The first section of the ropeway is the grassland, and the second section is the top of the snow-capped mountain. The scenery is good and it is worth a visit! There is no direct train from the city to the scenic spot. I made a call myself and discussed with the master about 30 times. When the master got to pay half first, I gave 15. When I came back, the master was gone, and I said that I would pick it up. The price increase was the lowest of 40. Later, I found someone to take a ride. I happened to meet the 12 bus on the road. I took the bus and went back to the city along the Napa Sea.

It was a humbling experience to travel this place solo, especially for a woman like me. The place is also safe.
