Wanfu Bridge Pier Review

Special navigation to Chengdu Funan River Wanfu Bridge Pier. Qingguangxu Dinghai Year (1887) built, cross the Fuhe River. Originally a wooden stone structure, the wooden gallery has a gold wood flat, the title "Wanfulai Dynasty", so the name. After liberation, it was destroyed in floods and rebuilt in 1963. The bridge site moved about 100 meters west, using the original name. The "Cultural Revolution" was named Renmin North Road Bridge, which was renamed in 1981.

The old Chengdu knows the place, the old pier on the Funan River on the leisurely beauty, the current through the Chengdu government's vigorously transformed the river environmental protection project, so that our mother river has become very beautiful and clean.

The waterway sand in Wanfu Bridge is very famous, it contains less mud, fine particles, holding a hand, the sand will fall from the finger seams, not sticking to the hands. The Lijiang River from the Dujiang River Baopingkou to carry a large amount of sand every year, after entering the Chengdu Plain, it gradually began to settle. When I arrived at Wanfu Bridge, a large amount of fine sand was deposited at the bottom of the river, and some banded beaches were left on the river bank.
