Wenshu Monastery is located in Qingyang District, Chengdu. It is said that Wenshu Monastery was built during the period of Yuan Daye (605,617). The Wenshu Monastery is now seen as a 36-year-old reconstruction of Kangxi (1697), and renamed Wenshu Monastery. The existing buildings are typical of the ancient construction style of the western Sichuan plain.
