The long-term geothermal park is also referred to as te po. It is more strictly a Maori Cultural Park that sells geothermal. Tickets here are more expensive to SGD. But humanistic things are indeed more interesting than pure landforms. I recommend this if you need to choose one of the two parks. The garden is famous for: the Kiwi Bird Hall, the mud pool, the geysers, the Maori Temple, the Maori Wood Carving School and the Grass Shop. The latter two technologies, the Chinese can just look at it. These skills of Maori are too pediatric in front of my Chinese children. Here, if you want to buy mud masks, soap and other souvenirs, the souvenir shop at the door here is the cheapest.
