TuzituziAfter returning from Shigatse, I chose the St. Regis Hotel again. My butler, Justin, arranged a courtyard room in the main building for me in advance. The room was more spacious, and the toiletries were Bvlgari. Everything was very comfortable. Thanks to the St. Regis and Justin, my trip to Tibet this time was very pleasant and comfortable.

Tanna_GubbI bought a pre-sale package on Ctrip, and the front desk ended up upgrading me to an executive suite on the second floor. Although the hotel isn't brand new, the decor is still quite good – it feels substantial and elegant. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the two-person set menu at Shang Palace was also delicious. Ms. Guo at the front desk was particularly attentive and thoughtful; she made me feel right at home from check-in to check-out. With great facilities, food, and service, the Shangri-La Hotel Lhasa is truly good value for money.

The room environment is so good that there is nothing to say. When I enter the room, I feel very clean and tidy. There is no messy debris. The bed is soft. It is like falling into the clouds. It is comfortable and I don’t want to get up. The quilt and pillow are also very clean. It smells like a faint smell of sunlight. The furniture in the room is particularly practical. The space is well used. It will not feel crowded or appear to be empty. The windows are large and the sun can fully shine in. The mood of the whole room is bright and the mood is also improved. Go out and do something. The traffic is also more convenient. After finishing the matter, you can also go to the surrounding niche attractions to punch the card.

This is the most cost-effective hotel for this 10-day trip. The breakfast is rich, the environment is good, the facilities are high-end, and it has the standard of a small four-star hotel. It is clean and tidy. The hotel is easy to find and has its own free parking lot.

I came to Lhasa backpacking alone, initially planning to rough it in a hostel for a few nights. But then a friend practically forced me to try this Hilton, saying 'you'll know once you stay here.' And okay, I admit, I'm completely hooked!
The service was incredibly good. They proactively said, 'Let me arrange a comfortable yet affordable room for you,' and even hand-wrote a 'Lhasa guide' – telling me where to find the cheapest sweet tea, which monasteries have free entry, and which bus routes offer the best scenic views. The most touching moment was when I came back drenched from the rain one day. Immediately, someone brought me a bowl of hot herbal tea and a blanket, saying, 'Don't catch a cold, getting sick at high altitude is a hassle.' This kind of genuine care is something you might not even find in a five-star hotel.
The value for money was surprisingly good. Honestly, I expected a Hilton to cost at least several hundred, but the price I booked was much lower than I anticipated, even more cost-effective than some private rooms in hostels. The room was clean and spacious, with oxygen supply and a humidifier, ensuring a really sound sleep at night. While breakfast wasn't a lavish buffet, it offered plenty of tsampa, butter tea, and boiled eggs, enough to keep me full until the afternoon, saving me lunch money. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and getting to the Potala Palace or Jokhang Temple costs just one yuan, making transportation costs almost negligible.
After this stay, I feel like I hit the jackpot. Not just because it was affordable, but because of the unreserved kindness from the ******* people. Next time I visit Tibet, I won't hesitate – I'm definitely staying here again! 🙏🎒

Guest UserHampton by Hilton Shannan is a new hotel that will open at the end of 2024. The hotel's facilities are very complete, all of which are intelligent voice controlled. The mattress is very comfortable and clean. The room is large, and the toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet, which is more advanced than the one in my home and can be controlled by remote control. The remote-controlled smart toilet is very suitable for me because it is difficult for me to use the toilet on an ordinary toilet. When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a free room upgrade and welcome fruit. The Coke, 7-Up, soda and mineral water in the hotel minibar were all free. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and tasted great. The price was well worth it. One thing worth praising is that the lobby manager also helped me book 5 rooms at Hilton Garden Inn Lhasa, the price was 80 yuan cheaper per room than on Ctrip. This service can only be praised. Next time I travel to Shannan, I will stay here again.

Guest UserThe quality of a hotel can be judged by the quality of the paper they provide.
In terms of facilities: The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, surrounded by mountains, offering stunning views from your bed. The rooms are stylishly decorated and fully equipped with amenities such as a washer, dryer, humidifier, large parking lot, and charging stations. There's a popular viewing platform, and breakfast for two is included, with a generous selection.
In terms of service: The two female staff members were warm and helpful, enthusiastically showing you different room types, assisting with luggage, coordinating parking and charging, and explaining how to get discounted rates. Highly commendable! Overall: This hotel is highly recommended.

Facilities: The facilities are complete and comfortable, and it is still very advanced to enter the room by face recognition. It is very good for the first time to try, eliminating the trouble of forgetting to bring the room card. The room is equipped with a massage chair to relieve fatigue. There is an oxygen concentrator, although the sound is a bit noisy, and the air conditioner is hot enough.
Hygiene: The hygiene is good. The towels and bath towels are plastic-sealed after disinfection, which is quite clean. It would be better if the details are strengthened a little more.
Environment: The environment is okay. It is difficult to park at the door. You can park in the back yard. There are many places to eat and shop around.
Service: The staff are very enthusiastic and take the initiative to help carry luggage. Although the power was cut off for an hour at night, the staff brought oxygen cylinders, which was very good.
