The hotel was fully booked on the day of our check-in, and we arrived over an hour early. Several staff members introduced us to various activities to pass the time, including a dedicated room for movies, board games, and a swimming pool. While waiting for our room, the service and amenities at InterContinental Danyang were exceptionally warm and thoughtful. The room was a family lake-view suite, accommodating four people. The hotel's location, far from the central lake area, was incredibly tranquil, with no tourists by the lake. Away from city light pollution, we surprisingly saw the Milky Way on our first night, a rare sight in East China. The swimming pool offered different children's activities daily. The botanical garden had a vast array of flowers and butterflies, along with a koi and swan pond where we could feed the fish. The hotel's two wings also featured a lighthouse and an observation deck. The buffet dinner had everything we could ask for, and on Chinese Valentine's Day, they even gave out roses. The fish head dish at the Chinese restaurant was absolutely superb. Breakfast deserves special praise; despite the hotel being fully booked, we could order noodles via our phones, and the staff proactively asked about our coffee preferences. This is exactly the standard expected from an established InterContinental brand, and even with the summer crowd, the service and quality were uncompromised. Finally, a special shout-out to our thoughtful butler, Emily. From the moment we checked in, she was incredibly attentive. On our last day, we had an early morning departure for a yacht in the central lake area. Without hesitation, Emily helped us arrange a late check-out, even during the busy summer season. To be honest, when I heard that the InterContinental was being rebranded, I had some reservations, worrying about a potential drop in service. However, after staying here, I can confidently say that this is by far the best hotel in China, in terms of both quality and service, that we've stayed at with our child during the summer season. Both its hard and soft assets are top-notch, and its service easily rivals that of established luxury hotel brands. I rarely choose to stay at the same hotel twice in the same location, but InterContinental Danyang has made me eagerly anticipate my next visit.

Wucheng Four Seasons Yijing Hotel (Yongsheng Shopping Plaza Branch) 9.1 The hotel package price was very affordable, so I saw a lot of senior tour groups. It's located near a residential area, and attractions like Guzicheng require a drive. There are many restaurants nearby. Pets stay free. However, Yongsheng Shopping Plaza is still about a 30-minute walk away. Location: Generally, it's near a residential area and a bit far from attractions (-0.7). Navigation was clear, and there's a convenient parking lot within the hotel grounds. Hygiene: The bedding was clean, and the floors were tidy. They also offer to clean the room after you've woken up, which is quite thoughtful. Service: The hotel front desk staff were very diligent. During check-in, they followed a standardized script and sent a detailed page of information via WeChat, including breakfast and Wi-Fi details. Their response time during my stay was also very fast. It would be even better if they could check reservation notes during check-in to provide the appropriate room type. However, the most annoying part of the service was receiving daily WeChat messages pressuring guests for 5-star reviews (-0.5). Facilities: They have smart home features and well-equipped energy-saving devices, as well as accessible facilities. However, the smart toilet only had an automatic flush function (-0.2). Also, there were no screens on the windows, so opening them for ventilation could let in mosquitoes and other insects (-0.3). Comfort: It has a budget hotel design. The room was a bit compact but generally clean. The soundproofing was a bit lacking (-0.2). Dining: Breakfast is provided, including a noodle station. They also offer a great late-night snack service. Bonus points: Late check-out available (+0.5). No room upgrade. Laundry room available (+0.5). Late-night snack service available (+0.5). Minus points: People occasionally smoked in the ground floor lobby and were not stopped (-0.5).

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

The room was nice and spacious, and the hand-rowed boat ride was enjoyable. The wetland was quiet with no other tourists, which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, the bird-watching activity we were looking forward to was canceled due to rain, and there weren't many other free activities available. The complimentary fruit was a bit underwhelming. Other than that, the staff service was excellent.

Our stay was excellent, and we especially want to commend our butler, Xiao Jiang. From pre-arrival communication and meeting us at the scenic area ferry terminal, to planning our itinerary and arranging dining and boat tours during our stay, she was incredibly thorough and thoughtful throughout. She proactively anticipated our needs, even thoughtfully providing mosquito repellent. Her demeanor was warm and professional, and her service was attentive yet unobtrusive, making us feel truly welcomed in this water town. The hotel's architecture uniquely reflects silk culture, and the breakfast was delicious. Coupled with our butler's high-quality service, our trip was incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely choose Silk Hotel again on our next visit.

After seeing all the great reviews, I hastily booked my trip to Wuzhen just the night before, and Jintang Inn definitely added a lot to the experience. The swaying sculling boat carried us into the water town of our Jiangnan dreams, starting a journey of peace and tranquility. The location of Jintang Inn is excellent, the room is great, the breakfast is delicious, and the reception service from Manager Zhao Runqiu was very thoughtful. Following the hotel's arrangements, we experienced a sound bowl healing session, feeling the physical and mental relaxation brought by the sounds. We visited the silk reeling workshop, which was quite impressive. The large loom actually required two people to operate; it took me a while to realize there was someone else sitting up top! ”If a child doesn't learn, cut the loom thread” – if it were me, I don't think I could bear to do it!

Our family's first summer trip – Naked Stables. Our little one rushed to Moganshan right after school, still in her uniform! Even though it was the rainy season, it had its own unique charm. **Environment:** Secluded and tranquil, with various standalone round houses or villas nestled in the valley. The landscape design ensures excellent privacy. There are also plenty of activities, making it a great place for a holiday! **Facilities:** The in-room amenities are all excellent, and the minibar is well-stocked. Even the chargeable snacks are delicious! On rainy days, it's perfect for enjoying tea and snacks in the room. However, the bathroom in the round house felt a bit small, and the shower facilities were located on the balcony, which was inconvenient to use on rainy evenings. My elderly parents had no choice but to use the bathtub, which was quite inconvenient. Later, we discovered the water heater wasn't working. The butler responded quickly, but it took an hour to fix the hardware, and still no hot water. The duty manager then proactively and very thoughtfully came to check on us and kindly moved us to another room where we could finally enjoy a comfortable hot shower. **Service:** The butler service contacted us by phone before check-in to pre-register our license plate, allowing for seamless entry without stopping. The hotel also offers a wide range of entertainment programs for both adults and children. Our child loved it, quietly enjoying handicraft activities and horseback riding. Our little girl especially adored it and rode for half an hour each day during our two-day stay. **Exquisite Naked Stables Souvenirs:** The cups are commemorative, and each room area is named after an animal. The various merchandise sold in the lobby is also very appealing and meaningful; we bought some to take home! **Restaurants:** There's an Italian Western restaurant and a Chinese restaurant, both with good food. The set menus at the Western restaurant were decent, and à la carte options weren't expensive.

This hotel is nestled by the water, surrounded by abundant natural beauty. Its design cleverly blends nature and a sense of divinity, with lakeside rooms offering incredible tranquility, perfect for a relaxing and healing getaway. The overall style is modern and chic, and the rooms are warmly furnished with excellent natural light. The specially designed lighting and color palette create a comfortable ambiance. The butler service is meticulous, with thoughtful arrangements before and after check-in, and they are always available when needed. They are very attentive, warm, and friendly. We were traveling with our child, and the butler got along wonderfully with our baby, so I highly recommend it for families. The service is efficient and problems during our stay were promptly resolved. They also offer wellness programs and activities like sound healing, spa treatments, and afternoon tea. The hotel's cuisine is vegetarian, with exquisite and delicious dishes. In short, I highly, highly recommend it! It's a charming hotel I'd definitely visit again.

Environment: The bed is very comfortable, it's quiet at night, and the hygiene is very good The overall experience is very good. I will stay at the hotel again next time and my family will be satisfied.

The hotel itself is a historic building, meticulously maintained, and perfectly aligned with the Wuzhen culture. It's a joy to explore, and while I couldn't post photos with people in them, it's truly beautiful! The staff were confident and natural in their descriptions when asked questions. The hotel's restaurant is excellent, with delicious food. The included breakfast is portioned per person, but very generous, saving you the hassle of choosing. I have three minor suggestions, which can be disregarded if not appropriate: 1. The shower pressure in my room was a bit low. 2. Given the hotel's excellent location, a 2 PM checkout would be perfect. I imagine many guests coming for a night tour of Wuzhen wouldn't check in so early. 3. The queue for the sculling boat was incredibly long (during a non-weekend in summer). Although it was included in the hotel package, I ended up skipping it. I would have preferred to tour the hotel's grand mansion instead. If the hotel could arrange someone to lead a guided tour and explain its history, I can't imagine how much more valuable that would be.
