Very good service by Sunway staffs, all smiles and patience and friendly with kids. My son is very happy from enjoying this Lost world zoo trip! 5 stars You can only check in after 3pm due to their small amount of rooms, so DO NOT come earlier! But the staff are really good to call me when room is ready so I really appreciate that. The location is also very good if you are planning to go Lost World, but other than that it is a pain in the ass to travel to old town or central area of Ipoh for good food, just secluded area. Prebook Jeff Cellar since it's in the same area if you want high end but good food. Sunway should not only sell their own products (white label) but also should include things outside like chips or medicine. Not really convenient when all the ground floor of hotel / inside Lost World doesn't have midnight snacks that isn't Sunway branded 😂

I brought my grandmother, my mother, and my son for a short vacation, and I must say that without choosing this hotel, our trip might not have been so memorable. My grandmother is a wheelchair user, and I was truly surprised to find the hotel to be almost 99% wheelchair accessible. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful, always assisting us with pushing my grandmother. We nearly missed the chance to enjoy the beautiful seaside near the hotel, but thanks to the kind assistance of the staff, they helped us bring my grandmother there. We deeply appreciated their thoughtfulness and support. I will definitely back to Double Tree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort !

The room was spacious and comfortable, though parking was limited. The breakfast was delicious, and they offered free peanuts at the front desk.

Overall was a great experience, easy check-in, near Lost World, requested extra towels and provided earlier than expected. Responsive reply from home stay management. The only down part was unexpected blackout ard 10am, we checked out earlier.

It is a very lovely guest house with great atmosphere. Especially, I have to thank a staff who was on duty on 18th night shift sincerely. My grandmother was uncomfortable on that night, we were looking for pills to stop her stomach ache from the reception at around 3am in the midnight, the staff was very kind, he drove my sister to the nearest convenience store to get the pills and finally my grandmother felt better after that.

This is a basic three-star hotel that covers the essentials. Good only for a short stay. The room is a decent size but pretty bare-bones. Most of the room floor is tiled—not wooden, SPC or carpeted —and the amenities are minimalist. The TV set is small and has a limited number of channels. Wi-Fi is not so good, and there is no swimming pool. Parking is free, but it is out on open ground and a bit of a walk to get to the entrance. Difficult when it is raining. On a positive note, the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help. Big thumbs up to them—keep it up!

We stayed here, just the two of us — And honestly… it was everything we didn’t know we needed. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the world slowed down. Just nature, silence, and the two of us. 💧 The villa — Private, peaceful, and beautifully designed. We had our own natural hot spring tub… soaking in warm water under the trees, just talking, laughing, and sometimes saying nothing at all. It felt intimate, real, and healing. 🧘♀️ The caves — Meditation cave was so quiet, we could hear our own hearts. Steam cave felt like a reset for the body. We didn’t rush anything. Everything there teaches you to slow down. 🍽️ Jeff’s Cellar dinner — This was the highlight. Fine dining in a 260-million-year-old cave — just wow. Romantic, calm, and full of little surprises from the chef. We’ll never forget it. 🌿 The overall experience? It’s not just a resort. It’s a space where two people can really reconnect — without noise, without distraction. Just you, your person, and peace. ⸻ We came here to rest. But we left with something more. A calm heart. The Hotel is old but very well maintained. Room is spacious and clean . Staff are very friendly and quick response in services . There are two things for improvement,one is the window sound proof is bad , is noisy during the night especially the illegal motorcycle race till 2am , cannot sleep at all . Corridor lights are too deem when your room is far behind ,you will not feel good ,no music and it is too quiet while walking in .

For the first timer like us, we were blown away by the services from the start of the journey toward the end of our departure.We felt extremely blessed to have this level of experiences (one island, one resort) rendered by the hotel.Not only the amenities are adequate and in high standard,but the secluded and privacy amongst in between the guests are the top.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Lagenda. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!
