The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.

小小美吕Staying at 大理古城摩古屋 in Dali on my trip to Yunnan was a really delightful surprise! This guesthouse truly has a lot of heart.✨🍄
The owners, a wonderful couple, are incredibly warm and hospitable, making you feel right at home. Since it was my first time in Dali and I wasn't familiar with the area, the owner thoughtfully helped us find a reliable makeup artist. It was a perfect recommendation, no regrets at all, and I was very happy with the makeup!👍
Breakfast was included in the room rate, and it was delicious, easily 4-star quality – I ate very comfortably. The young man working at the guesthouse was also very attentive, often proactively refilling our bottled water, so we never had to worry about running out. These little details really added to the experience!💧
Overall, the experience was fantastic—warm and reassuring.
I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali for the first time or looking for a cozy, heartfelt place to stay!❤️

WWudiniangaozaiThis guesthouse was one of the accommodations I was most looking forward to during my trip to Dali, and I'm so glad it met my expectations! I didn't do much research before booking; I just stumbled upon a recommendation on a social media platform, and the view looked so amazing that I booked it right away. First, let's talk about the location. Since I didn't read up much beforehand, I only realized upon arrival that there are very few dining options nearby – almost no restaurants at all. Luckily, we had rented a car, which made things a bit easier. The owner is incredibly thoughtful and provides excellent service, helping with luggage and giving great recommendations. The resident cat, Saipan, is a bit aloof but very good-tempered; you can pet him all you want. It's a shame I only stayed for a short time. The view from this room type is fantastic, and in the evening, with the lights on, it feels so warm and cozy. I hope to come back and stay for a few days next time when I'm not in a hurry. Oh, and the room is also super photogenic!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located right at the beginning of the ecological corridor, not far from the high-speed train station. The corridor itself is quiet and uncrowded, with some really nice scenery. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was incredibly spacious with a fantastic view – you can literally pull open the curtains and watch the sunrise! I'd definitely consider staying here again if I'm ever back. Erhai Lake is a place that truly deserves to be savored.

GGuest UserThere was a bit of an odor on the ground floor, and the drainage wasn't great. Also, people from outside could easily enter the hotel. However, the facilities were excellent, and the view was lovely. On the downside, the surrounding roads were a bit run-down. The service attitude was fantastic! We also had dinner at the hotel, which came with a discount, a complimentary travel photoshoot, and a handmade gift. The kids absolutely loved their stay.

GGuest UserThis place truly made me feel at home. I arrived at the hotel starving after my business trip, heading straight into a solo vacation. The owner's father personally picked me up from the airport and even made me a warm bowl of noodles. The rest of my stay was wonderful. The room had an unbeatable location; I could see Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain the moment I woke up, and enjoyed both sunrise and sunset, plus the evening 'fish lanterns'. Reading, sunbathing, and feeling the breeze from Erhai Lake on the balcony – it was incredibly relaxing. The only downside was that the room was so comfortable, I barely wanted to leave to explore! The owner, knowing I was tired, even brought my takeout right to my room. I wish all hard-working people like them continued success!

CcharlottemomoThis past May Day holiday, I brought my family to Dali for a vacation ⛱️ and chose this South France-style guesthouse located in Haidong, where we stayed for 5 days.
From the moment our trip approached, the guesthouse thoughtfully set up a chat group with a butler who updated us on the weather and reminded us to pack appropriate clothes. Upon arrival, they helped us with our luggage and kindly informed us about afternoon tea 🫖 and late-night dessert 🍮 times, which was very considerate.
The guesthouse is located in Wenbi Village, a popular spot recently, and it's not too far from the airport, making the location quite convenient. Since the village is on a hill and parking spaces are scarce, the guesthouse arranged for our rental car to be parked at a nearby resident's lot and provided a shuttle service for transfers.
Traveling with a child this time, his favorite part was the large bathtub. Every evening, he eagerly looked forward to a milk bubble bath 🫧, and he also loved the Basque cheesecake for afternoon tea 🍰.
If I were to offer some suggestions, it would be to provide baby slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste for rooms with children. Perhaps also offer some parent-child interactive activities, like making flower cakes, which would be an even nicer touch. Also, the breakfast could be a bit more varied; after staying for several days, it got a little repetitive, haha. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!

RRuanmianmian.I absolutely loved this ancient-style courtyard! It has a wonderfully serene atmosphere. Wearing the traditional clothes provided by the inn, I instantly felt transported back in time, like a charming young lady from an old tale!
The room layout is a split-level loft. The first floor has a living room with a sofa, and the second floor boasts a scenic balcony. Sitting there, whether just daydreaming or sipping tea, was incredibly relaxing!
In the evenings, the inn also offers cocktails, and a late-night drink helped me sleep soundly! If you, like me, enjoy old-world courtyard inns, I highly recommend this one in Dali!

They're well-versed in unique, off-the-beaten-path local routes and provided genuine, practical tips for dining, accommodation, and travel, helping guests avoid pitfalls and tourist traps. The room was clean, elegant, and filled with natural light, boasting a simple, fresh, and soothing yet warm decor, with every little detail showing their care. The bedding was soft, comfortable, and skin-friendly, ensuring a cozy and peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast was uniquely flavorful and delicious, with a rich and varied selection of dishes. The ingredients were fresh, carefully chosen, and additive-free, making for a healthy and reassuring meal. The surrounding environment is peaceful, serene, and scenic, making for an incredibly fulfilling travel experience. The value for money is outstanding, and it's definitely a place I'd return to repeatedly. I've already recommended it to friends and family, and I'll certainly make a special trip to stay here again on future travels.
